It's an assurance that we know the furnance is working okay. However, after everything was checked out the gas wasn't turn back on so therefore, we had no heat the next day. My husband thinks he talked too much to the fellow who maintained the check up and that is why he forgot to turn the gas back on. We called Standard the next morning and in a few hours someone was here and found the problem within minutes. That was great service.
