It turned out the bike I ordered was not in and Allison contacted me to give me the bad news and go over my options. I took her advice after several emails (kudos to Allison's responsiveness and knowledge) and went with the bike she recommended (this was all on a Saturday). She told me the bike should be shipping out in about five days. I got the new bike on Tuesday (three days after talking with her) and absolutely love the bike (Allison was spot on with her advice). Bike came in great shape and needed minimal installation steps. Was out riding thirty minutes after the box arrived. Great price, great service, great shipping!

I like the customer service, the 100 mile and 1 year tune ups that are offered on new bike purchase, big value there for customers! I try and purchase as much at freewheel as I can, especially when prices are competitive with online retailers. Bike clothing at brick and mortar bike shops continues to be outrageously priced.
