I came to the Laurel Jiffy Lube location because it was closer to my job. I have never had a bad experience
at a Jiffy lube before. I came in for an oil change but before I can one of my tire pressure lights was on and it was at a 26 psi when it should be at a 35 psi. When my car was completed I notice that my tire is still at the same number but the rest of my tire were at a 38 psi. I’m preparing to travel for Thanksgiving so the tire pressure is important. Once I noticed, I went back inside to talk to service attendant. They then told me that it was taken care of and that I would need to drive around a bit for it to adjust. They went to get the person that put air in my tires and they didn’t understand English. As I started driving the rest of my tires went up to 39 psi and that one tire was still at 26psi. To me this is dangerous because the tire pressure was completely off making my car unsafe to drive for a road trip. I then took it to the capital heights location and they were able to correct my tire pressure. The service attendant then told me that my rear passenger tire that was at 26psi the cap was tight and couldn’t come off. He mentioned that they probably weren’t able to get it off and never put air in my tire. I won’t be back to the Laurel location again as this could’ve just been communicated to me.

The factory recommends 5.40 course., they told me it wouldn't matter that little bit of difference.I wasn't going to leave until they drained out the remainder, so that bothers me.I could have driven away and had a major issue.Even the factory had made that point.Well knownYou can have an issue by overfilling a little bit even. Every thing went very well. I let the technician know what type of oil I needed for my car and they had it and were able to use for my car. The service was very prompt. The technicians were very pleasant.
I generally love the service here, but today I was quoted a price for two tires and I accepted. I went to a coffee shop next door while the work was done. When I got back I was informed that the "correct" tire was not in stock and they had to order another one -- and that it would be about $200 more expensive. I probably wouldn't have had the service done for that price and I left a bit upset about that. They should have contact me before adding $200 to my bill.
They did try to make up some difference with a complimentary oil change in the future and I appreciate that. But it still left a bad taste in my mouth knowing I could have got the same service somewhere else for much cheaper.
They were fast, friendly and gave me a heads up on an issue that would soon need attention.
