When I arrived at the ER, I was promptly taken to a room where they began evaluating my condition. The staff did a great job diagnosing the issue and explaining what was going on. However, there were a few areas where the care could have been improved.
They failed to remove a piece of a Q-tip lodged in my ear, which was likely the root cause of my vertigo. Additionally, the instructions regarding the prescribed medication were unclear. The label simply stated “take as needed,” but no one explained that this meant only during severe episodes of vertigo—specifically, when experiencing intense symptoms like rapid, uncontrollable eye movements and the sensation of the room spinning.
Unaware of this, I continued taking the medication whenever I felt mildly dizzy or experienced unsteady legs. Unfortunately, the medication itself was contributing to those symptoms. With clearer guidance on when and how to take it, those side effects—and the prolonged discomfort—could have been avoided.

I had a wonderful experience at Baylors for my delivery. The doctors and nurses were incredibly supportive, caring, and professional throughout. The facilities were clean and comfortable, and the care I received made my maternity journey smooth and comfortable.

From the moment I walked the door, the energy, professionalism and commitment to both the customer/patient and to Baylor was evident in each employee. The facility was stunningly beautiful as well.

Caring cleaneds
Hospital is nearby. The doctors, nurses and staff are very professional. Dr. Carrasco, who performed my surgery, explained everything. The anesthetist contacted me in advance of the surgery. I was home by the end of the day. Thus far have had no complications that I am aware of. Financially, being on Medicare, I believe I was provided the details regarding the cost of the surgery. I am awaiting final billing.
All in all at this point I am very happy with the overall process and results.
My husband was a patient and I spent waiting hours in the lobby. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and there were free drinks and muffins available. There is a cafeteria and vending machines available. The staff was very pleasant and my husband was cared for very well.
The L&D nurses were amazing and we really lived the nursery option as well. The hospital was nice and clean and didn’t have as much of the harsh white sterile typical aesthetic.
Professional, individual care prioritized, excellent customer service.
Check in was a snap. The nurses were very helpful and my doctor is fantastic. And the place looks like a hotel

This was my 1st visit to Baylor Frisco and I loved everything, including the front office staff that checked me in, nurses, Dr Burleson, anstestesologist, just everyone! Special Kudos to Tanner that took care of me prepping me for surgery and in recovery as well.
Quality providers and good communication.
