Always do a great job!
In EVERY instance of hospital visits I have always had doctors ensure they go above and beyond, all staff from front office to nursing have always been amazing. This single time has been the only exception.
Y’all have seen me through multiple injuries, choking, brain seizures, etc .. I ALWAYS told people to go to this location because it was the best.
On Friday, 4/26, I was very ill, up to a 103 fever and so was in and out lucidity. I was not given any tests - I tried to explain all my symptoms and had written everything down because of that and showed the nurse/told the doctor - and still no tests. My boyfriend says none were offered.
I had to follow up with urgent care on 4/30 because I started getting a horrendous tight chest, cough, etc etc .. by Sunday and I tested POSITIVE for COVID. However because of the delay .. I was not able to get Paxlovid because it was too far past time.
Is it not standard to do flu or Covid tests anymore when people present with possible symptoms?
I even asked the other nurse about being around family for a birthday gathering the next day and she said I should be okay as long as I wore a mask. I could have killed my 82 year old mom or my 3 month old granddaughter. Or at least made everyone in my family as ill as I have been.
I’m very disappointed in this single instance and am angry I am now going to be wasting the money I am going to have to pay for my visit. I am going to have a conversation with my insurance as well.
I will also not be choosing Frisco as my first go to .. because half care is no care when it counts.

It was new to me as I have not had such surgery for over the last 40 years, so I was nervous, but the people who were involved in the operation made me feel comfortable. It was an outstanding service from everyone at the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Frisco, including the doctors and nurses. They were thorough and friendly and explained what to expect before and after each step. I will tell my friends about this if they have to use a service from a hospital in the Dallas area. Here are the people who put great effort into their roles and work to care for me so smoothly and friendly:
v Frank Williams (Registration Specialist at BSWH Medical Center) - He called me a day before surgery and explained everything I needed to know, including answering my questions. He also followed up with an email, attaching the facility map.
v The first nurse explained the procedure and prepared me for the surgery. I heard she was either a manager or supervisor of a nurse team (another nurse, Mrs. Park, indicated she was her boss). She was a master of what she was doing and so friendly. I am sorry that I forgot her name.
v The nurse in the operating room talked to my spouse to explain the operation's progress. The nurse was in the 1st stage recovery room after the surgery, and another nurse was in the 2nd stage recovery room before I was released. They are all fabulous and friendly.
v In particular, the nurse, Mrs. Park, took time from her busy schedule to be willing to explain to my spouse in Korean when my wife needed help.
Of course, both doctors, Ewen Tseng and Peter, and the anesthesiologist were fantastic. I know the Doctor. Tseng met my spouse following the surgery to explain to her the outcome of the operation. My spouse appreciates it. Again, I would recommend it to my friends and neighbors without hesitation.
I want to thank you for all the outstanding service. FYI. I have been recovering from the surgery, which was done at 7:45 AM on 4-25-2025 at the BSWH Medical Center in Frisco.
