I had an issue with a brand new one inner tube. It was replaced yesterday and the new one went flat today. I wasn’t actually upset, but I did want to make sure that the training for the repair folks was good. I’m convinced the tech knew what he was doing yesterday and the issue was a defect in the new inner tube.
Anyway, I was taken care of nicely today. I don’t know of an easy way for you to detect this type of issue sooner. I suspect it could cause some customers to get very frustrated. Good luck.
Don’t overpromise on new bike sales assembly time. I was quoted 1-2 weeks. It was over two weeks.

My son and I came in on several occasions to purchase a bike good for the city and for trails. We bought the FX-1 in his preferred color-black! Outfitted with special tires, bike lock, tire locks, new helmet, water bottle holder, and pump, he is now ready to jaunt around Chicago. The staff--many who helped us both in the front with sales and the back with service--were all incredibly knowledgeable, patient with my son who is new to biking, and helpful with suggestions on how best to prevent theft in the downtown environment. I bought a Trek 20 years ago for a sprint distance triathalon and remembered the quality of the bikes. Inspired by his lightweight and smooth gears on my son's new FX-1, I pulled out my classic Trek and it's scheduled for a tune up and new tires as well. It still rides great after all these years. Could not recommend the product or this store and it's staff any higher. Thank you! (We may be back soon to upgrade! lol)
Staff is rare combination of brains, talent and just genuine good peeps. Brought my bike in for fit assessment and Sean Dawoodi spent the time to thoroughly analyze how to alter my bike to make it less painful for me on my longer bike rides. He and his engineer were able to come up with a plan, the parts to retrofit (in house) and did it all so I was out in less than an hour. Thank you!

Greg is a GREAT manager, owner, and store leader. All associates seem to respect him and enjoy working hard. They are very good.
Paid a lot to get parts fixed- bike was still filthy when picked up.
The young lady at the checkout counter was very helpful and very courteous, went out of her way to take a couple extra minutes to help me with my purchase and help facilitate a return of a previous purchase

I really didn’t feel like the staff was interested in helping my son and I understand his new bike. We spent $800+ on a new bike and I had to twist arms to understand shifters, hydraulic braking system, air shock and ask if there was anything different to disassemble for transport.
Service and interest in serving me severely declined from my last Trek purchase several years ago and will make me think twice whether I need to locate a new bike shop.
Not how you’re supposed to do it. Not even close.

Absolutely the best service at any bike store anywhere! Techs are so helpful and knowledgeable!!!
