Every is very friendly. I feel like family.
Top of the line inventory and fantastic, personable staff that really know their products. The owner is amazing!
I like the fact that you provide free checkups if you’ve purchased your bike at the Bike Lane. The staff and technicians are great.
Vincent was an excellent mechanic and professional serviceman.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff with great service.
prompt, accurate diagnosis.
Pricing estimates - I had a gear jammed and they said they would replace the cable on a new bike for my son that only costs about $300. Then I showed up and was changed $100 for a seasonal update and the cost of the cable. I would VERY surprised to get hit with that surprise $100. I would have NEVER agreed to pay $100 for a bike that cost $300 and didn’t even have 20 miles on it.
Great service on repairs.
We brought both of our bikes for service in May, and picked them up last week. Today was the first ride since picking up the bikes. Unfortunately my wife's bike had her chain come off twice during an 18 mile ride. We brought the bike back to the Bike Lane, and one of the techs immediately adjusted the front derailleur, and then (with permission) rode the bike through the parking lot, finding that he needed to make another small adjustment.
They remembered working on the bike, and no-fuss, no-muss, the bike was adjusted and now seems to be in the proper condition. Thanks.
The service and pricing were excellent. We purchased a new bike for my son on-line and the gear shifting was not working. I called 30 minutes before closing time and the store rep said to go ahead and bring it in that day. They fixed the gear shifting problem as well as checking the brakes, tightening the pedals and inflating the tires for $15.00. My son was thrilled to be riding his new bike the same day and we'll be bringing all our bikes for future servicing and purchases to the Springfield Bike Lane store.
Convenience. Selection of products and helpful staff.
Bike Lane personnel are always attentive, prompt and skillful.
They also advise, encourage and explain mechanical information for customer benefit.
I appreciate this service and free service to my wonderful Trek Verve 2!
I am so glad Bike Lane is in Reston.

Good product selection and great staff help, especially for a relative newbie to biking.
Professional, efficient service. Answered my questions quickly and accurately.
Great service at affordable price. The staff is very good at what they do and vet responsive to customer’s needs.
The last two times I've been there, it's been to find a part for some minor repairs and they have always been able to help! They are very friendly too!
The Bike Lane is the best shop imaginable. Derek is always there for me, and I like to think of him as my personal mechanic. However, he makes everyone feel that way. And Todd is an unbelievable owner. BEST EVER!
Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They go out of their way to make sure my cycling needs are met.
You’re local, friendly, knowledgeable, non pressured selling and unpretentious
Great service - very patient and thorough. I had to drive almost an hour to get to the shop but was pleased with their friendly and professional service.
Friendly service and priced right.
The best customer service from a bike shop that I have ever attended. They actually strive and care about delivering excellent repair service. They also are very knowledgeable about all things bikes and are patient with novices.
Just wanted to relay my experience today when I got out to Reston to pick up the bike. I got there around 11:30 am. And the guy at the front desk was a little confused why I was there, but eventually found the bike. Yay.
I took it outside to test drive it before heading back to Maryland and that is when I discovered that the battery was fully drained and not charged. I asked the guy at the front if he would charge it up for me so that I could make sure it was ok before leaving. He went in to charge it.
On the bike, I noticed that the brakes (both front and back) were not tight enough and that there was a funny sound coming from the front brakes. I took the bike inside and the guy at the front said that ’they’ would take a look and that we could hang out at the coffee bar until then.
I sat down at the coffee bar and waited. There were 3 guys standing around talking, of which I thought that at least one was a customer. After about 10 min, they wrapped up their conversation and the one guy finally went over and asked, if the bike sitting there was mine. Indeed it was. I told him about the brakes and he took it to the back to take a look.
He brought it back out and then I took it outside again to see if all was good. The sound from the front brakes was still happening. So I went back inside to ask the guy if he could come out and take a ride so that he could hear what I heard. He came out, took it around the parking lot then said that he couldn’t hear anything.
I then, asked him to ride it while I ran beside him and asked him to press the front brakes. So he did. And the sound happened and he said that it was normal and that if i wanted to upgrade to better brakes that would take care of the problem, he also tried to explain to me that I was hearing the noise from the front and not the back because of the way sound travels. OMG.
I then went in to get the battery that was charging. Put the battery on and all worked, so I left with the bike.
To be honest. This was my first time shopping and visiting your bike shop and I cannot say that I would ever return. Reasons:
1. Why was the bike not ready, battery charged and adjustments made when I came to pick it up?
2. You all had like 7 folks working in there and not one person was helpful with getting the bike, explaining the bike (battery, etc). No explanation of warranty or tune ups. I even had to ask for the manual and charger myself before I left as that was not presented to me.
3. I got there at 11:30 am and headed back one hour later. Why was picking up the bike so difficult and time consuming? I took time off of work to head over to Virginia from Maryland thinking it would take all of 20 min to check out the bike, get the run-through of how it works (which I never got) and then head home.
Quick, friendly service
The staff is very friendly and technicians know there jobs. They know how to fix your bike.
I took my bike in for a tune up and was assisted by Thomas S. He was very helpful and knowledgeable.
My bike was ready earlier than promised and I was thrilled. I would definitely recommend the shop and if I decide to buy a new bike I will buy it there.
Very helpful

The bike we picked up in May 2021 was not the bike we ordered in September 2020. A 12-year old boy riding a WOMEN’s 2021 Dual Sport 2 is… not ideal. Not sure how the order went from men’s to women’s when we called to inquire about a size change from S to M in March. Going back to the “end of the line” in the waiting queue is our unacceptable reality with Bike Lane. We will be ordering and waiting again for the bike we wanted, but not from Bike Lane.
Supply is one issue, however, communication is the main complaint. We take some blame for calling both Bike Lanes and assuming the stores were communicating clearly.
