I wanted to purchase some tires on line but prior to buying I called the store to see if they were in stock in the warehouse as I already knew they were not in store. The person I spoke to checked stock and assured me they were. I went ahead and bought them online. Within 15 min. I received an email from a Sweet Pete's representative saying that unfortunately these tires were indeed not in stock and I would receive a refund on my credit card in 4-5 days but it may take up to 10!! Disappointed in the transaction and definitely not pleased with the delay in refund of my purchase! However, I give a 5/10 rating because I realize that bike stores are having difficulty getting stock and I may be willing to give Sweet Pete's another shot and hopefully an improved rating if the experience ends with better results. Actually looks like a pretty good store. But, please, improve inventory monitoring. I wouldn't criticize a store if they told me they did not have an item in stock, especially under today's circumstances. I bear the store no malice just irritated at the inconvenience.
Brent and the team were super friendly and very help. They were great with explaining options and benefits of the products I showed interest in.

Literally almost lost my life getting into a bike accident because the bike’s brakes wasn’t tuned right and the gears on my bike were messed up
The staff is very knowledgable understanding experience d and they go with what your personal needs are. I needed some work done but I couldn’t afford the highest quality things and so the accommodated me with what I could afford and they were awesome!
I would definitely definitely recommend sweet petes
And they fixed my old bike up so it was perfectly fabulous for me to ride
Fast service
The turnaround was fast and the quality of service (before and after purchasing) were excellent.
The shop shipped quickly. However the shipping is based on postal economy. it took over a week to receive the glove
Great selection of items, good pricing, but follow up and advise is second to none.
I came in with a low rear tire on my old clunker that I use to commute. I asked for it to be treated as a flat and fixed.
I was told it would be fixed in an hour so I left it there rather than at the competitor down the street. An hour later I picked up my bike, bought a light, and paid for the repair. I left, rode for a block and realized the rear tire was still flat.
I figured the staff must have changed the front tire tube by mistake.
I returned, and was told that the bike was not ready when it was given to me, unrepaired.
I was told it would be another 15 minutes. I returned. Then it would be another 20 minutes. Then a couple minutes. Time passed. I waited. It was finally ready an hour and fifty minutes after I originally dropped it off.
A staff person kindly returned the bike to me at the park where I was waiting.
It was a very confusing experience and if I had known I would be held up for almost two hours I would have gone to the competitor.
I've been a client of the shop for years and this is my first sub-par experience.
The staff was friendly and helpful regardless.
I guess when a shop tells me a repair will take a certain amount of time I am more likely to return to the shop at that time than wait for a call from the shop. Maybe I'm old school.
It felt like I was getting strung along, although that was not what was taking place. It was just a case of poor communication between the mechanic and the front staff.
That's my honest feedback. I would have used my time better or gone to a competitor if I knew I'd be on the hook, with several delays until the work was done.

Sweet Pete’s had the helmet, size and colour I was looking for. I ordered online and picked it up the next day. Staff were very helpful, as I was also looking for a new bell. The young man who served me had the same bell on his bike at the back of the store so I was able to test it out and see how it looks. Needless to say, he got the sale! I also looked at locks, and was given a lot of info on the various models. I’ll be back when I’m ready to buy one.
