I love JAX-Long Beach and I love their whole family of supposed employees. They truly a family of caring, knowledgeable and experienced bike enthusiasts who excel as great listener's - before offering suggestions and guidance about your needs and requirements.
I have spent months visiting the store, researching JAX's and TREK's website, and online to narrow down and spec out a new bike as a replacement for my 10-year bike. Over the months of my visits and endless questions, their guidance helped me to narrow my choices to either an X-Caliber or an FX-Sport 5 or 6. Then they helped me to narrow my choice to the specific models, features and specifications - versus my budget and riding habits. Finally, a couple of test rides helped to define my final choice, an FX-Sport 6 Carbon Fiber. This bike is sooooo awesome in every respect and has proven to exceed my every expectation!
During my many visits, I met with and spoke with Paul, Manny, Tommy, Anders, Will and their one delightful and helpful young lady, Chitara.
Even when I requested the final bike build according to my and TREK’s spec’s such as Shimano brakes, they made sure they delivered my complete wish list.
Paul and Manny are definitely the Go-To bike guys and are truly supported by the rest of their staff family. It shows in their attention to customer desires, needs and details.

And YES, I am just an ole 78-year old customer that rides a minimum of 125 miles a month in many conditions; and not at a hi-speed road race pace.

The staff is always so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I have never had to wait too long and they are very nice about answering questions over the phone as well. I just had a repair done by Dave and a very nice phone conversation with Jesse previous to that. I felt very well taken care of.!

Friendly knowledgeable, staff. They are riders and love what they do and they know how much we love our bikes and how much we paid for them. These guys just want to make sure that they make it right like they are working on their own bikes. That’s what I was interested with.
Derek spent a good deal of time to explain what repairs and maintenance were needed for my bike. The repairs made a great improvement in how smoothly the bike rides and performs. We were also assisted in the shop by Derek and others concerning our questions with good advice and no pressure to buy. It’s a very well stocked and clean store all of which made it a great experience for us.

my first experience with jax was during covid, getting my saris rack with sherry and jordan. you guys handled those crazy times very well. i love the rack, as i have an electra go townie.
i knew i wanted this tune up @ jax as you do a higher volume of e-bikes. i’ve not been out on it yet other than a spin on your cul de sac before leaving. went back inside to say thank you as it felt so tight, like a brand new bike. thank you jordan! now it’s got black tires, it’s truly a completely different looking bike. very cool. onward for another 4500 miles.

I went in to get some inner tubes and ended up having a wonderful time chatting with Craig, who educated me on some of the potential new bike options. I also signed up for the ”Flat Pack”-a screaming deal for lifetime tubes and flat repair. Great shop!
