Competitive pricing and friendly service
I live out in Meridian, and initially thought I had ordered my new Trek bike from that shop. I was never too crazy about the customer service at the Meridian shop, however out of convenience that is where I decided to look for a bike. They did tell me there was a Trek available to order and I called Idaho Mountain Touring to order the bike I wanted. By accident, I ordered the bike by phone with the Boise, downtown shop.
I am so happy it worked out that way. When I picked up my bike in Boise, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The energy of the store was completely different from the Meridian store. My son raced road bikes and cyclocross bikes, and when we needed parts or service, the Meridian staff was arrogant and never helpful. It always felt as if we were bothering the staff when we needed supplies or a minor repair. As a matter of fact I had a bad impression of Idaho Mountain Touring prior to my experience with the Boise shop just recently. Great Job Boise Shop! You flipped my impression, and now I will go to your shop for anything bike or outdoor related.
