What do I like about your products and services? Everything. While I was extremely lucky as they told me, I could only have been that lucky because the guys at Helen's were willing to put in the work so quickly after I asked, that it happened. I feel like the first guy in the country with a Crystal White F, maybe I'm not but I sure feel special, and all the staff had such a genuine interest in seeing the colorway on the bike since it was the first one they'd come across, and they kept talking about how incredible it is, which also made me feel special.
Monty was the kindest, easiest person to work with. He clearly thoroughly enjoys his job, and he certainly seemed to really enjoy bringing me the insane amount of happiness that came with my new frame. It wouldn't have been possible without him, and in all my dealings with other shops, despite my phone call possibly initiating the availability when they called Pinarello, Monty called ME back on it, which spoke volumes about him right off the bat. I don't believe I would have gotten this frame if this had happened at any other shop, whether it be someone they would have preferred more, or my appearance not coming across to them as a serious cyclist. I was given the advice by another shop that I should just "take whatever color I can get if I want one of these frames" because they conveniently had a frame in my size, but was a colorway I had no interest in.
Helen's came highly recommended, and I can certainly see why, and will DEFINITELY be the place I get every single bike I ever buy moving forward.

I ordered and payed for a bike, was told it would arrive on Monday afternoon, I came Tuesday afternoon to pick it up and the sales person went to grab it and couldn’t find it and said it didn’t come in. Friday I still haven’t heard anything from your store, we called and they said the bike was in. The person that sold us the bike had a attitude both times we came back.

Edgar is an amazing mechanic. Serviced my BMC several times and each time the tune up was completed, the gears shift crisply and accurately. I used to drive to Winn's Wheels in Thousand Oaks from MB, but so glad I found a local mechanic. Seth is professional, courteous and respectful. Much needed breath of fresh air compared to a lot of service reps at bike shops that are rude and dismissive. Keep up the superior service Helens.

Your employee helped us find the perfect bike and everything to go with it. He spent time with us and really got it right. Even found a helmet that my daughter will actually wear every time she rides! I am so pleased with the service.

Great service and knowledge about all the bikes and accessories. You don't just get a bike, there's a car rack, helmets, comfortable bike seats, locks and of course the bikes themselves. Been a while since I've ridden and want to get bak into it, and the gent that help us made it so pleasant and easy. This morning at 6:00 my son and I got up and rode down by the PCH and beach. it was fantastic !
it was expensive! AND learned upon checking out at the cash wrap that if I use contactless pay, everything I buy is non-refundable. That's not right! That shouldn't be the case anyway. I think you need to update your systems, if so. It's really discouraging people to NOT use the service. Also, I could argue that since you're touching the Credit Card reader machine thingy, you could be spreading COVID. Just my two cents.

Wilbur is the best, I would change bike shops if he ever left. When he was sick with Covid I mailed him a check. When he returned he said Helen's was good to him when he was recovering. He was glad to be back and working again. This means to me Jay takes care of his employees, that's why there is low turnover.
BTW, I'm on my 5th great Mt Bike bought at Helen's, the last two were IBIS Mojos.

My bike needed a major service and new parts. You HAD the parts on hand, which is a major deal these days. My bike was put in top order, quickly. I am a very happy customer.
Nick Perzik was super helpful to me in selecting a bike and buying it. Knowledgeable, patient, friendly. I would recommend you guys without hesitation!
When I went to pay for the bike that I had left for service, I was expected to pay for it before I was given a detailed invoice as to what had been done. I knew that it was going to be in excess of $250. But, I was asked to give my credit card for a nearly $400 invoice before I was able to look at the detailed invoice.
It would be the better part of good faith to be able to see the detailed invoice before paying the bill.
All of the things on the invoice we legitimate -- and necessary. I'm not complaining about the size of the bill. Only that I would have appreciated seeing it before my credit card was run to make the payment.
Staff and selection
I really appreciate the help I received. The only issue is the slow and/or delayed response. But, that is understandable because it appears that the staff was extremely busy. The staff was friendly and pleasant, and followed up on my request.
Your service is excellent!

I didn;t ask for the mechanics to build my bike that i had shipped to helens. When I picked it up I was charged 125.00 which I didn't preapprove. Not good customer service.
