I had a recall on the brakes on my Trek. Helen's arranged to get the necessary parts quickly to fix the situation and took me in on short notice and had my bike back to me on the same day. They were friendly and caring.
The guys in the service shop are 90% reason i use helens. Wilbur, Freddy, Eric and the others are super. theyre fast and very friendly.

I dealt with Alfredo when I dropped off my bike for basic tuneup. He was very friendly and helpful and told me my bike would be done in a number of days so I was pleasantly surprised when I learned that my bike was ready to be picked up the next day. Service did a wonderful job tuning up my bike and the bike was nice and clean when I picked it up. Another service guy was so kind to hook up my bike rack and load my bike on the rack. Great service. Thank you.
i’ve been a Helen’s customer since 1989. There’s always a huge variety of bikes, shoes, clothing, parts, etc, to choose from at a variety of price points. This store caters to every type of cyclist from beginner to elite, young to old, affluent to budget. The Santa Monica store’s friendly, knowledgeable staff make shopping (and browsing) a pleasurable experience.

Cameron was great ! Very friendly and knowledgeable about saddles and all my other questions . Helen’s is a classic , and i have shopped there for 30+ years . I test rode bikes there in the 90s but ended up buying a Colnago from I Martin . It’s great to know that Helen’s is still committed to those amazing Italian bikes . The Pinnerelo’s and Colnagos upstairs are as beautiful as bikes get in this universe and I loved spending time up there with them. I have not been here in years since I moved to another part of the city, but I’ll be back because there is nothing like this store anywhere near me!!!
