The first and most important reason I would recommend Chain Reaction is the high quality service I receive. Mike and the others almost treat me like I’m part of the family. They always go above and beyond what I expect.

I searched several bicycle shops to find my bicycle. Chain Reaction found the exact bicycle I wanted and the perfect size. The Staff was very helpful, answered my questions, and adjusted the bike to fit me. After, a casual test ride, I bought the bike from the best shop in the Bay Area.
They are friendly, very knowledgeable, and go the mile mile to make sure bicycle is ready.

First and foremost, the store had the bike I wanted to buy. Everyone was really friendly and helpful, and the installation of accessories was done very quickly.
But what I really liked was the atmosphere in the store. While I was waiting, several other customers received help. The staff was very friendly and helpful to all of them.
Thank you in helping me choose the bike that was right for my intended use and type of body. I came in and was helped by one sales person one day and then another on the day I test drove the bike. If the sales person did not know the answer to something they simply asked the right person in the shop and got an immediate answer. There was no sales pressure either. Thank you for everything . I think your show room floor could look much better with user displays and graphics and better gondolas. It looks like an empty building had floor displays put in with no real thought to layout. Also, would be great, with the available floor space, to put in a bigger variety of product/kit, not just bikes. Just my 2 cents. Otherwise, the community is grateful that you are here!!
Great service and selection. We thought my son needed a kids bike but they helped size him up and found he was ready for an adult small bike. We did a test ride and got a nice bike that will last him longer.
This is a quick shout out to the team at Chain Reaction Bikes in Redwood City, and in particular to Steve and Mike for thier exceptional customer service and Mike’s attention to detail when handling a maintenance issue with my fairly new Trek.
The “bike” was complaining with the dreaded unknown squeak that was apparently coming from the bottom bracket. I brought the bike in after noting that the squeak occurs during cold rides in the morning, sub 50 degree F.
With that info, Mike dove in and fixed the issue. I tested it over 2 early morning rides the follow weekend. No squeak, no rattle, zip, silence… actually I heard a little “hum” from the bike, apparently a very happy “Chain Reaction”.
Mike not only gets the job done, but keeps exceptional notes on the issue and explains it back to me in layman’s and engineering terms which I do understand !
Way to go Mike and Steve…
