Being a new user of electric bikes, I was very unsure of what I actually wanted and what was available and what it meant for me.
Mike looked after me very well and explained the differences in a manner I could understand and was patient when I tried 3 or 4 different bikes. He was extremely helpful and took his time to make me feel happy that I was comfortable with what I was buying.
I came away extremely happy and am delighted with my new Trek bike.

An excellent range of bicycles in a very well organised and structured business with extremely friendly and attentive staff, the atmosphere in the shop is calm which encourages a feeling of being able to view the stock whist always having someone on hand for technical questions .

I recently bought a Raleigh ladies electric bike from big bear bikes. The service was excellent from Alistair . The bike is super 👌 👍. It's sturdy and easy to ride. Alistair was very thorough and gave me all the information I needed to know about the bike. I had test rides on it at the back of the shop around the car park.
I would definitely recommend big bear bikes .

We called in 3 times whilst deciding on electric bikes. We also looked at several other local outlets. Great advice. No pressure. Tried multiple models in their car park. Patient and sympathetic to needs, no angling for trade. Shop atmosphere v relaxed.
Purchases straight forward. Took time to go through all aspects of management and safety features. Went through use and answered all questions however banal! Covered safety issues around charging and riding.
