Bicycle Habitat is always on it. Ive been their customer for many years. They fixed my breaks and adjusted my handlebar setting. All is great because my bike is ready to ride safely.
The technician I worked with was super helpful!
I recently called the shop to ask about the status of a repair. I was on hold for 10 minutes and when the person came back on the line they had no idea where my bike was or what the status was. They made no effort to extend any effort to help me and when I said I would just take the bike unfinished, their answer was "okay".

What an amazing shop! I’m so glad I found my way into Bicycle Habitat. I was touring from Rochester, NY to New York City and needed some gear and service before continuing on down to DC. Josh was so helpful finding the items I needed. Anthony went above and beyond servicing my Disc Trucker and I left the shop with confidence my bike was set for another 1000 miles. Thank you all for the amazing customer service and skilled labor. I can’t wait to be back in the City to swing back through.

This is my first time visiting Bicycle Habitat and the experience was well worth it. The staff was professional, friendly and efficient. I was approached right away by an associate named Chadd. He sat with me to ask me a series of questions on what I was looking for in a bike. I have had my bike for 22 years now and it was difficult to let go. However, he was able to talk to me about the issues with my current bike and what an upgrade can look like for me. He presented three different bikes and I was sold on one of the models. I was able to test it and as I said to Chadd, it has been a long time since riding a bike has been this easy. I ended up buying the bike and he set me up with a profile for any care that may be needed afterwards. It was hard to let go of my old bike but this experience alone is making me look forward to starting a new chapter with my new bike. Thank you so much!
I highly recommend Bicycle Habitat for anything cycling. In course of building a custom touring bike at the Chelsea branch (this is the only bike shop that has the chops to do this) I have observed that they solve any and all issues cyclists have with expertise, and total understanding. Whether you are bike packing, mountain biking or road cycling this is the place to go to. Special shout-out to Matt for helping me build my custom tour bike.

I had a positive experience at your shop and would definitely recommend it because the staff was friendly and helpful. They did a great job with my bike accessories like the wrap, lube, and pedals.
I did have a small issue when the tech forgot to put my light back on after installing my handle wrap. It was a bit inconvenient as I was far from home without a light on my bike at night and will also require me to make an extra trip back to the store, which is a hassle for me.
I mentioned this when I called, just to make sure your team is aware. While I appreciate the effort to find my light and label it, it was a bit frustrating for me.
Overall, I still plan to leave a positive review and 5 stars on Google. Just thought it would be helpful to review your procedures to avoid these situations in the future. Every detail matters! Thank you!

Bicycle Habitat to me is one of the premier Bicycle Sales/Repair shops in NYC. You are always treated with professionals that have vast knowledge on everything with 2 wheels.They never try to up sale you on products. They find ways to service your bicycle 100% and mitigate costs of parts and repairs. BH is the best!

I had a small but pressing problem. The shop was clearly busy with a lot to do. The mechanic got my simple/stupid issue resolved in less than 15 minutes.
I tried adjusting my cantilever brakes for hours because they were squealing when I needed to stop. The mechanic made them perfect in less than ten minutes for only $15! Amazing.
Everyone was super friendly, quick, and attentive. After I had dropped my bike off for what seemed like just a flat tire, the technician was nice enough to run across the street and let me know of a larger issue and clear the procedure with me before going forward - what a homie!
Quick, easy, kind, and cheap … who could ask for anything more?
