The employees at Bike Habitat were professional and pleasant to interact with. I was also impressed by how quickly they work.

Eric is an excellent mechanic and his attention to detail is impressive. After my bike was blown off the ferry hook and dragged along the deck I was terrified it would be a mess but he identified the problems quickly and gave the bike a complete checkup and tune up. And when he realized I'd ordered the wrong part based on his information he quickly deducted the price from the cost and re-ordered the correct one. He's a gem. I trust all my bikes to him.

Service is wonderful and attentive, the trade in program is great, and they’ve always had a wide array of kids options in stock.
I had a flat and needed my bike checked over before heading out on a trip. Every staff member I came in contact with was super friendly and knowledgeable. They wasted no time in taking a look at my bike and I was all set to leave in about 20 minutes. Amazing!
There was a problem with a part that was swapped out as part of tune up. This was fixed quickly and it was not a big issue, but the part could and should have been tested prior to handing the bike over. Otherwise the whole process was smooth
I recently purchased bike pedals from your shop, and while I appreciate the offer to install both the pedals and included cleats, I was caught off guard by a $15 charge for cleat installation at checkout. This charge wasn't mentioned when the service was offered, which was disappointing and left me feeling uncomfortable about the interaction.
Overall, the service was good, but this lack of price transparency really impacted my experience. My suggestion would be to clearly communicate all service charges to customers upfront, before performing the work. Being more transparent about costs would create a much better experience for your customers.
