5BBT 2022 draw lots of cyclists to participate the iconic event over 32K ppl. I am very grateful for the best bike rental to enjoy the 5BBT ride. Will do again

Izzy, who helped me pick a bike seat, was great!! Told me not to worry about returning it if it didn't fit right and installed it for free. Lovely time here.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

I rented a bicycle and I know you aren't in the business of renting bicycles but I had to beg for a water bottle cage, there was no spare tire or tire changing equipment on the bike which in not appropriate. I had to buy a tube which I returned without getting refunded because I couldn’t carry the box. The bike I rented was extra small yet the handlebars could not have been any wider and the tires were 52’s. When I arranged for the bike I asked for a road bike because I arrived5 days before the 5BBT to tour the area yet I was given the least road friendly bike and there were no negotiations to make the bike fit me better.
When I have paid to rent a bike in the past, the shop has always been willing to make adjustments to get it to fit me more comfortably and that was not an option here.
While I appreciate you carrying rentals for the week of the 5BBT, we paid good money for them and should have been treated better by your bike shop employees.

Honestly I am simultaneously terrified of and bummed out by bike shops and bike experts and the whole culture typically but this shop isn’t like that! Izzy took good care of me and I’m really pleased with what I bought.

What could we do to improve?

The lines are so long. Additionally, I would’ve loved to be able to walk around the store as opposed to waiting outside to see bicycles and accessories.

Nicholas was AMAZING! Super friendly, informative, and was never tired of answering questions. He made sure I was well informed about my options and the differences between the bikes I was considering. He found the perfect bike for my needs. Keep him around - he is surely an invaluable asset to this company.

Love your store. When I originally came in, the mechanic who looked at my bike said I needed a new large chainring but you didn't have any but he would order one for me. They installed the SMALL chainring, which was not the one I needed. I had to buy the chainring I needed AGAIN.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

I came to your store because of the wonderful customer service I heard. The biggest complaint is that wasnt good service. When picking up the bike, it required me to come multiple times. I tried to email to try to figure out when is the best time to get the bike... No response. It makes me believe that no one is checking or maybe understaffed are just overwhelmed. It's funny the process of receiving payment is not a priority.

Finally I was excited about getting my bike to find out I couldn't shift into First gear and there no one inflated the air on my front tire.

I'm willing to bet I won't get a response... It will just prove my point

What do you like about our products and services?

The store carries a range of products which is fantastic. But what our family loves most about BH-Bklyn is the service. Danny (I think that’s his name!) has helped our family for 4 years and has offered a wealth of knowledge, experience, humor and accommodation that just keeps us coming back.

Great customer service. Even though I misread the sign twice because of my own stupidity. Employees were really nice to point me in the right direction. They fixed my kids bike within hours of dropping it off. Highly recommend!

What do you like about our products and services?

I had a broken piece on my bike mid ride and came in to get it fixed. It was just a simple replacement so the mechanic only charged me for the part. It was fast and honest. I was back on my ride so quick.
