Just do a better job

3 cleanings ago the service was poor and I called with my concerns. The next cleaning was better. The last cleaning, on June 7th, the microwave was not cleaned inside, the granite counter top was incompletely cleaned and the wood floor had peices of grass still on it. I had left granite cleaner and cleaner for the appliances to be used - do not think that it had been used, as the appliance cleaner had 2 cans, one almost empty - was still almost empty and I used it up recleaning very quickly. The trash in the laundry room was not emptied and yet it was moved to clean the floor. These were the things I saw about the house cleaning without looking! It makes me wonder how well the bathrooms and other areas were clean. I have several business trips over the next few weeks and really do not want to have to find a new cleaning service, but my confidence is not very good.

Merry Maids does a good job. The ladies are thorough, polite and professional.

The house looked and smelled great when you were done. Having Merry Maids come in is a big help with trying to stay on top of the cleaning.

Wonderful cleaning except there were still some spots on the
hardwood floor in kitchen area--- nothing major and am sure will be taken care of next cleaning! I have a different product we use most of the time and will leave out. I was not here most of the time they were here, but they were SOS friendly and dice when I was here. House felt sooooo clean and good!! First name removed

More thorough cleaning, not skipping areas, such as dusting, or a bath.

We have not been unhappy with the service. When we see something we feel neds to be done we asked and it has always been responded to.

The attendants are very professional and thorough with their cleaning. The office staff is courteous, flexible with scheduling and I always get a reminder call. I've used Merry Maids for years and trust their staff with the care and cleaning of my home.

I think it would help if the ladies were more thorough overall. Our home always appears clean after they have come but on furthur inspection I find some areas that were missed when dusting or doing wet work.

Details were overlooked. Should focus more on dusting (wood bed frames, light fixtures) and vacuuming (furniture cushions top and bottom). I'm hopeful these will improve with next cleaning service.

The thoroughness with which they do their job

My living room couch is low so that probably the sweeper head will not go under it. I have a dust mop that I use to bring out all the dog hair to sweep up. I would like for Merry Maids to do that, too. My side chairs in the living room need to be dusted under as well. This requires tilting them to their sides to sweep under. It is not hard or back breaking, but if it is not done, the dog hair stays. Other than these two things, things were good.

I really look forward to coming home each time when my home is cleaned. It's the single best thing I do for myself each week!
