Annette and Laura are an amazing team! - when others have cleaned for me and my friends,it wasn't worth the time or money. There does not seem to be consistancy with the level of cleaning from all your employees. Laura and Annette need to train others to make sure the homes are really clean!

I was very impressed with the ladies who cleaned. They did amazing work on some very tough jobs. I would recommend them to anyone who asked due to their hard work and pleasant demeanors.

Overall, I am not unhappy with your service. It is just that not all rooms that I am paying for to be cleaned are being cleaned.

It seems that there is confusion about which rooms/areas should be cleaned. I noticed that the half-bath on the main floor was not cleaned the last time. It was cleaned in July, but not in June and August.

The hallway on the first floor was only cleaned to the edge of the stairs, not all of it.

The garage too is mostly hit and miss. Sometimes it is swept, sometimes not. Same with the basement. I would like the entire basement to be cleaned; the home-office in the basement vacuumed, the half-bath cleaned, the stairs and the bare floor vacuumed or swept.

I checked the utility room after the August cleaning and I couldn't tell if the floor was cleaned. I am not sure what is being cleaned in the utility room.

That is why I think there is confusion about which room need to be cleaned and what needs to be cleaned.

We like the cinnamon fragrance! To date, the ladies have been extremely professional and courteous. It has been a pleasure to work with Merry Maids

House is clean! And, like the " special attention to 2 rooms each time! Products are fine. And,like the pre-set time--and, the fact that they are on time? Good planning.

More thorough cleans. This week was very good. Attention to corners, baseboards.

China cabinet was not dusted, corner of one room was not swept or dusted and white cleaning residue was left all over the bathroom including the fabric shower curtain. I also observed that the same white cleaner was tracked by foot onto my hardwood floors between the 2 bathrooms. When questioned directly about the china cabinet the lady said that she had dusted it but all shelves were still visabaly dusty. This makes me wonder what else wasn't cleaned that I either couldn't tell by sight or didn't notice. Two different ladies were sent out to reclean those areas and I still wasn't pleased with the dusting of the china cabinet.

Seems like after every cleaning there is something is just not very clean. Last time was the sink and counter in the Master bath (husband's side). Outside front part was cleaned, but rest was not and both sinks were not very clean. I think they had been cleaned, but your products do a POOR job. I have had to provide cleaners for almost everything, and while mine may not be "green" where they are used, seems to be cleaner. So your service is costing me more because I am providing the products in order to get the house clean!

Merry Maids cleans thoroughly and I recommend your service highly to everyone!!!

This past week when the maids came they completely skipped a room that has never been skipped before. When I called to inquire about this, the lady on the phone was very nice and offered to refund the amount of cleaning for that room, which I did appreciate. The explanation offered was something along the lines of, "That could be a problem with the paperwork." Considering this was our main bathroom, there was no reason for it to be skipped. All of our bathrooms were explicitly marked for cleaning.
However, since our initial "deep clean" we have felt that the performance we've seen has slowly diminished over time. There isn't consistency in what is and isn't cleaned; some teams seem to do a very thorough and detailed job while other teams come in and leave behind a job that seems to be rushed. It could just be perception, but from our end this last visit was very disappointing. I was warned by a friend of mine that had used this company that they tend to keep the cleaning, "As cheap as possible" in order to turn a larger profit. Since Merry Maids was the first company to call me back I opted to give it a try. I was happy with the initial estimate, the pricing, and the first few cleanings. Since then, we've just not been as happy as we were in the beginning.

The girls worked non-stop the whole time they were here. They were on hands and knees doing floors and trim moldings.

Everything! I love the way my house smells after its been clean and the vacuum marks on my carpet and furniture. My two girls take special care in their cleaning and pay attention to detail. I've already recommended Merry Maids to a friend!

hand cleaning the floors

Krystal and Holly came in and went right to work.We appreciated the downstair shower floor being so thoroughly cleaned!! It was great!! Instead of scrubbing the kitchen floor, they only vaccumed. We were under the impression that scrubbing the kitchen (rather than spot cleaning) was part of our service. We will call the office to make a list of services we are entitled to receive for future cleaning appts.

Lacking in consistency.

i have been very happy with your service until the most recent cleaning on july 30,2012. the person who vaccumed the carpet caught a corner of the hallway carpet in the vaccum and took off the corner threads. she never said a word about it. also the person who dusted did not move anything and i had to go back around to finish the job.

Everthing does a excellent job our home sparkles.

Some times, not always, the wet work isn't thorough; kitchen counters still have spots or behind the faucets haven't been wiped. Also the vacuuming is sometimes spotty missing behind doors or under chairs. Overall, we are pleased.

The consistency in the cleanings could be better. Some days it's very thorough & other days I'm disappointed. I will say that whenever I leave feedback for the maids, they do address my concerns.

I travel weekly for my job and don't want to spend my free time at home cleaning. Merry Maids allows me to come home to a clean house.
