I reached out to Merry Maids for help in the midst of our move. I had planned to clean my house myself, but could not find cleaning supplies due to the covid-19 crisis... so, I contacted Merry Maids.
Sherry was lovely. She met me at my house gave me my estimate- and paid to have the team come two days later. It was going to be over $600 with tip. So I had high expectations for that amount of money.
The team was early and kind. I let them in and they got started.
The team called me once they were done with the job and had left the property. I was disappointed that I was not able to walk through and check their work. Sherry has said it would take them almost a full days work- so I was shocked that they were done in 4 hours.
When I arrived at the house I check the refrigerator, and it was not cleaned. I had paid $50 extra for that. I was flustered. In my disappointment I called Merry Maids back- reported the issue- and they said they would send them over. While I was on the phone I walked the house & everything looked fine. I was in a hurry- I was homeschooling 4 kids- and had to get back to them.
The next day was our final walk through before selling our home- I opened the oven (I paid $50 extra for that as well)... and the oven was cleaned, but the oven door was not. I was very frustrated- so I called the team back.
I know I should have caught the issue the first time- but I paid over $600 ($580 plus tip)... and I should have been able to trust that for that price the work would be done properly as promised.
Merry maids sent another lady over and she cleaned it. But I was very disappointed that both the appliances that I paid extra to be cleaned were not done properly.
For that kind of money- it should be done and I shouldn’t have to check every single thing. I needed the work done- so I had to pay. For that amount of money, I expected it to be done right the first time.
Sherry said it would take almost the entire day, and the ladies were out in 4 hours. I should have been paid back for those hours that were “included” in the estimate...
I’m not mad, just was disappointed. The team made it right. But I was disappointed for that kind of money, and the job not to be done right.
The products are very good, an i really appricate the help the girls give me, Misty is Very Good an always so thoughtful no mater how she feels

I have had the same 2 ladies for the last several years, These 2 do an excellent job and are very congenial. The last cleaning I had a new lady. She did a fine job and also was congenial. For the last 4 plus years I have had nothing but good service from these ladies.

The team, Misty and Trish, who usually come to my apartment are friendly, competent, efficient. They are open to suggestions and always ask if there is anything special that I would like for them to do.
They project happiness in their work, I have never seen any sign of grudingly labor.

The team that normally does our house is great. Been a customer for 14 years
It always smells fresh.
The last two cleanings at my house a few things were missed. The items missed:
1. Trash was not emptied.
2. My son's bed was stripped and sheets left to make bed. Bed was not made.
3. Master bath shower never gets scrubbed only wiped down. I have to scrub or spray with Tilex to ensure that the mold is removed.
4. I wasn't home for the last cleaning and my husband said the floors were not cleaned properly.
5. The time before last I asked to have the baseboards dusted and I moved my dog bed and hair was all over the baseboard. The girls didn't move the bed.
I hate to complain because I love the fact that I have a set schedule.
