What could we do to improve?

The general cleaning was quite good, but the edges not and the spots I pointed out are still there.

What do you like about our products and services?

The tech was clean, considerate,and did a good job. I liked that he was diligent about wearing the show covers in my house and taking them off when he went outside, I liked the corner protectors.
The stains that had reappeared after a different company clean our carpets came out. Hopefully they won't come back again.
The tech also left me with a bottle of stain remover, and some instructions on what to do with it.

I heard about zerorez on KSL radio, I believed what they said about Zerorez. We have old carpets in the basement, they cleaned really good. I was surprised some of the bad spots were gone. We were told they would dry in 4 to 5 hours, wrong! it took 24 hours to dry.

You're right Doris. 24 hours is waaay too long to dry. I will schedule to have a technician come out and apply a disinfectant in case any mildew issues have developed. Thank you for letting us know. Wet carpet for a full day is unacceptable. We will bring this up in our next morning meeting.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

Your scheduling REALLY needs help! Originally I was told to expect arrival between 2pm and 5pm. The truck arrived at 6:30 and so ruined a planned evening.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

I brought my rug in a "free" dust shaking, knowing that I would probably want to have it cleaned if the price was right. I thought the price was a little expensive, but since I had brought it all the way down from Park City I decided to do it. I don't like it when there are upcharges after the fact: pet treatments (I never saw any stains) and a $9 water fee? Makes it feel like a racket. Also, everyone seemed very paranoid about getting paid, which is odd since I had left my $1000+ rug with them. Too much trouble to bring it down from Park City and it took 12 days. All that being said, I think they did a good job cleaning the rug.

Julie, thank you for your feedback - we are always trying striving to be better and your comments help us know where we need work.

1) The "free rug dusting" is in fact free. We will always offer to do a full cleaning but the intent is to let people know about this new service we now offer. No one should feel pressured.

2) It is true that upon initial inspection we found no urine or odor issues in your rug, but after our rug expert hit the rug with hot water, an odor as well as multiple spots became clearly evident. We would never try to get you to pay for something that was not legitimate.

3) I'm sorry for the confusion with the payment. Our rug expert did not realize your payment information was already on file.

4) Turn around time to have rugs cleaned can take up to 2 weeks. We are working on a way to get rugs back quicker. Our old supplier for rug cleaning was 4 to 6 weeks out so we are improving over what we use to offer.

I looked up your invoice and the size of your rug to make sure we didn't accidentally overcharge you (it's very rare but I wanted to make sure). A rug the size you brought in, for a rug spa treatment and treatment for urine would have come to $470 at regular price. Because you got the free dusting and you dropped it off and picked it up, you saved us from those expenses. At $168.61 I don't see any over charges.

I hope next time we can exceed your expectations and communicate with you better.

I have used ZeroRez before and have been very pleased with the results. However, I felt that my experience this time was a bit less satisfactory. The carpets took longer to dry than before and I felt the tech spent less time on the "problem" areas as in the past. Therefore, I was less pleased with the results. I will however, continue to use ZeroRez in the future.

it seemed pretty expensive, and we got our house and the house next door that we rent out cleaned, and i feel that we should have got a better deal.

The guy who cleaned my carpets, told me the price, and I worte the check, and then he realized that he forgot to add $30 for protectant, so I had to write another check. We got our living room cleaned, hallway, and stairs, and the whole house next door cleaned, and it seemed pretty expensive.

This was my first commercial carpet cleaning experience, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The workers were very professional and did a good job. After they left I could see a high traffic area that still remained, so I was a little disappointed.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

I had a rental property cleaned. The person I spoke to knew that. At no time was I told that I would need to be available to pay directly after the carpet was cleaned or was suggested to prepay. I spoke with someone the morning of the cleaning and gave them the tenants # to call with a closer timeframe window that 4 hours. I then left to take care of the business of my day. The cleaner called my home and left a message that they were 15 minutes out and not the tenant. After the job Zerorez called my home for payment. I was not there and I don't have a cell phone (don't assume everyone has one). The carpet cleaner refused to leave until he got paid. Gratefully the tenant was able to finally get a hold of my husband at work and he paid over the phone. I do not appreciate the stress it caused my tenant! I certainly understand wanting to get paid directly after your job. If it is that level of importance that your cleaner would refuse to leave until paid I recommend you inform your prospective client before the work is done so appropriate arrangements can be made. I work with many different vendors and they all do business differently. Don't assume everyone knows how you do business.

Our technician missed a note on the job that instructed him to contact the tenant instead of the main contact number listed. I really appreciate your specific response and constructive advice. As a result of everything you pointed out, we had a meeting this afternoon and are changing how we inform commercial clients as well as landlords about how and when we expect payment. We should have been more clear about this in the past, but you have helped us get better. I will follow up with you this afternoon to thank you again for your help.

What do you like about our products and services?

Our carpet was left very clean, and dry enough that by the end of the day (with a little help from some floor fans) it was dry enough to put our furnishings back in place.

I love how clean my carpets not only look, but I feel like my whole house smells better (not that soapy musty smell I usually have after cleaning carpets). We had Billy clean our carpets and he was so helpful answering questions and helping me know how much everything would cost. He was so helpful and straight forward and I didn't feel pressured into anything. Billy also helped me by answering questions I had about the care of my carpets and how to take care of them so they can last longer. Thank you so much! I will use you again!
