Stairs seemed a bit expensive, but overall I was very happy.
We were told the carpet would be dry in 4 hours and it wasn't until 20 hours later (this included fans on and doors and windows open). Also, our house smelled musty for 2 days. The carpet cleaner himself was very professional and friendly. I am not sure the vacuum worked very well because the towels we laid down to walk around on got pretty soaked pretty quickly.

That is way too long of a dry time. I'm sorry for the smell and the inconvenience. I will get someone out there immediately to address the mildew and re-clean any areas you would like at no cost. Thank you for letting us know what happened so that we can fix it.

The carpet was cleaned better than any other system we have used. Jesus, the agent who did the work, was very patient and effective. One problem we had was the buckling of the carpet in spots. We are out of town now but will continue to monitor this development.

Thanks for the great review. I will let Jesus know that you were impressed. That buckling is called latex displacement, and it occasionally happens with carpet that is not stretched properly. It usually goes away once the carpets are dry but if it does not we will be happy to follow up and it get fixed for you.

My first issue was a stain that was not removed on the initial visit. I was even more disappointed the second time your representative came out. I had already explained my issue on the phone and asked what could be done. They said we will send someone out so we can resolve your issue. When the representative arrived I explained that is was my understanding he was going to get the spot out of the carpet with the up sale he did when he was originally out and cleaned the carpets. He said no it was to only do a pet cleaning of the carpet even though I was talking about and more concerned about the stain. He brought up the pet cleaning and made it sound like it was all included in the additional charge. After about 10 min or arguing with him about it and him saying I can clean it but I will be charging you to do it. I finally said forget it.
My next issue was that there were perioctic dirty sports around the base boards. I showed him this and he said it is because I do not change my furnace filters. When I reponded yes I do on a very regular basis. He said you must not or you wouldn't have this dirty sports around the base boards. Frustrated and furious at being basiclly called a liar I asked him to get out of my house. I would never recommend a company that constantly debates with their customer and basically calls them a liar to their face!

I'm sorry that you had such a terrible experience with us. Having looked into what happened personally, I wanted to clear up a few things that you have brought to our attention.
First, the additional service you paid for was to remove urine from the carpet, and attempt to eradicate any spots and odor associated with that urine damage. But the stain that could not be removed was a permanent red stain, something completely unaffected by that service. I wish that we had a stain removal product or service that removed every possible kind of stain out there, but unfortunately each problem calls for a different approach. In this case, attempting to remove that red stain called for a completely different set of equipment and products, and can be very time consuming.
Second, the dark lines and spots running along the baseboard are called filtration lines, which are an accumulation of oil and dead skin that have settled along the wall over a period of months or years. These lines can originate from soils in your duct-work inside your walls as well as the air in your kitchen and living areas. Our technician did a poor job of explaining this to you, and although furnace filters are often the culprit, they are only one possible cause of this problem. I'm very sorry for the way that this was approached. Our technicians should never debate with you or become argumentative.
Again, I want to express my sincere apologies for the overall experience. I am going to bring up this issue in our next morning meeting and see how we can work on communicating better. Thank you for your feedback.
I like the idea of no residue. I wish I had been told that carpet protectant would cost almost as much as the room cleaning before the technician got here. Since I wanted the carpet protectant my bill almost doubled. It would have been better to have known ahead of time.

It made the carpet fresh and clean and like new I liked that the technician used a black light to identify pet urine and then treated the areas so there would be no reactivation of the odor.
The carpet was looking very drab and old. The tech did an awesome job, on time, very quick, clean cut, and it looked like new again. I love how there was no soapy residue after either. I will be recommending you to all my friends.

The technician Michael did an excellent job of getting my carpets clean, spending a lot of time on the dirtiest areas. I really appreciated that. He also spent the time needed to give my vents the attention they needed. Michael also put a sealer on my granite counter tops. I watched him and was impressed that he seemed more interested in doing the job right than in doing it quickly. My carpets look great and the house looks and smells wonderful. I am giving a baby shower this Saturday, and I feel much better about having people in my home now. You need to give Michael a Raise!

clean, efficient and fast
After the technician left my husband noticed the hallway with a yellow hue. He rubbed a clean rag on it and it was really dirty. It was also really wet.
I'm sorry Collette. It sounds like something definitely went wrong. I will have a technician out there tomorrow to find out what happened and get those areas as clean as they should have been. Thanks for letting us know so that we can make this right.
