NORMALLY, I like the fast drying, clean carpets with a pleasant, fresh smell. And the service from phone call to technician has been excellent.
However, this time was a different experience! I debated about telling you at all, since I have always been so happy in the past, but I think you should know in case it happens to other customers. First, let me apologize for delay in responding. With the holidays rapidly approaching, and my indecision to contact you, time has just slipped by.
My husband and I had removed all the furniture that could be removed and vacuumed the areas thoroughly to expedite the technician's service. He seemed very appreciative of our preparation. He was extremely polite and professional and quickly started the pre-treat and cleaning process.
After finishing, he told us we could walk on the carpet immediately, but it would take about 4 hours to dry enough to replace furniture (about 7 or 8 pm). He also suggested we turn on the ceiling fans to help the drying time. We went to bed about 10, and the carpet (even under the fans) was nowhere close to dry. In fact, the hallway was "squishy".
The next morning, the carpet was still way to wet to replace furniture, so I had to call the housekeepers to reschedule. (Not a life-altering event, but slightly inconvenient for both parties). The hallway was still "squishy".
By about 5:00 PM, (over 24 hours after the cleaning), we thought the carpet in the living areas was dry enough to vacuum, and replace SOME of the furniture. The hallway continued to be WET. In fact, the carpet in the hallway was still damp after 36 hours! The good news is...it finally dried!
The technician did a great job in cleaning the traffic area from the kitchen to the hallway (a straight shot) and explained the color would be more consistent once the carpet dried. Well, the traffic area dried clean and looked almost new ( an accomplishment for 20 year old carpet), but on either side of the traffic area, where the golden retriever stretches out, is MANY shades darker! and makes the traffic area appear bleached.
Anyway, we will continue to use Zerorez because of the previous experiences, but I thought you should know how this one went.

The carpets look brand new. All the stains are gone! I love that no chemicals are used and there is no residue. Technicians are always knowledgeable, friendly and courteous.
