Thorough job, does well mitigating biological hazards
I like that it seems less chemically
I scheduled an appointment between 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM. I chose this time so I could meet the worker and so that my wife, who works from home and takes many business calls, would not have to be disturbed. My wife texted me at 2:40 PM to tell me the worker was there. When I called your office to find out why the worker was early, the person I spoke to said that I had been notified by text. I later checked my phone, and yes, I received a text that the worker could be there earlier, and it offered me an option to confirm that that was okay with me. I did not see the text because I was working, and I definitely did not click “confirm.“ I told the person I was speaking with that I couldn’t see the text that she was talking about (I was driving at the time and didn’t see it until later). She told me if it was true that I didn’t get a text, then that was the company’s mistake. Although she was correct that I had received a text and I just missed it, I thought it was kind of rude to call me out on that using “if it’s true” language. More importantly, it didn’t matter whether I received the text or not, I certainly never confirmed the early appointment, and the worker went ahead and showed up anyway, interrupting my wife while she was on an important business call. I had to ask a colleague to cover for me so I could race home and meet the worker from your company.
We were pleased with the cleaning itself and thought the worker did a good job with that. I understand that schedules change and sometimes it is easier for a worker to show up at a different time, but the expectation that we should drop everything to meet your worker without even confirming that first was highly inconvenient and put us in bad positions with our own jobs.
Since you asked how to make things right, I would like an acknowledgment of this review and a commitment to talk with your customer service representatives about the importance of tone and wording when dealing with a customer and a commitment to confirming any change to a schedule with the customer first.
In the end, the cleaner took care of us and represented your company well, and we were happy with that. Thank you.

It was not made clear to us that “only open spaces were to be cleaned” so when we tried to clear furniture out of room, our technician childishly through his equipment on our living room floor and slammed our front door to go wait outside. It was obvious by his late arrival that he was running behind that day and we were only causing him further stress. His actions were unacceptable and highly unprofessional.
