This is the 3rd or 4th time we’ve used Zerorez. We’re always happy, which is why we always return.
timely, clean, effective
This experience was pretty awful. The tech arrived on time, which was great. However, while we were walking the areas to be cleaned, which consisted of the kitchen tile, two area rugs, and basement carpet, Ron (the tech) says, “I can’t guarantee what kind of results you will get. You may not see a difference.” Okay, I don't know how I feel about paying you a few hundred dollars for the possibility of no results. This started us on the wrong foot.
He took the two area rugs to clean them on the downstairs carpet, and then brings them back upstairs. One of them is directly in front of the front door, which he is now continuously walking on going inside and outside to get equipment to complete the kitchen floor. He sprays the kitchen floor, sets up his washer equipment, and goes outside. After about five minutes, I see our kitchen filled with smoke and water spraying from a hole in the hose. Our kitchen is now flooded, and water went into the hallway and inside of our coat closet. I ran outside to look for him and let him know our kitchen is flooding; he turned the water off and came inside. I grabbed towels to help, and he removed the machine and hose from the kitchen, again stepping all over the freshly cleaned area rug.
He now had to use a different machine that didn't look to have the same quality cleaning capability as the original. He had left the front door wide open the entire time; we were at an hour into service. It was hot and humid outside, insects are flying in, and our AC had to compensate for this load.
He completed the kitchen, removed all of the equipment, and when it was time to pay, he didn't charge me the $50 for the pet treatment since he flooded the kitchen. That was nice.
Overall, it was not a great experience. He gave us very little confidence that he would be able to make a difference. Thankfully, the results are better than his poor customer service.

The Technician was Excellent and very professional, the recliner chair looks brand new!
I had the technicians out at my house this past Friday and had no idea my “5 room special” had a maximum square footage of 300 sqft per room and walk in closets were not included. This was not explained to me when I called for an appointment nor anywhere on your website or my invoice that I could see. This extra room charge applied to my master bedroom and family room. Rather than go back and forth with the technicians at my house on this matter and leaving these rooms with only half the carpet cleaned we proceeded. I must say I totally feel like I was taken for a ride here. Almost like a bait and switch tactic. Your reviews all seem to be positive which is one reason I decided on using Zero Rez. Quite honestly I’m having regrets on this service.
If this is not standard practice, please let me know how this can be corrected.

The cleaning process and outstanding service provided by Zerorez make them the best choice in carpet cleaning throughout the DMV region! Every employee I interacted with was professional and courteous and really seemed to like working for Zerorez.
The guy was nice and time. He had his mask on the only thing is he didn’t have was shoe covers for his shoes and went up and down the stairs after cleaning with his shoes . I was disappointed because i thought my carpet would look like it’s been clean especially in the min to low traffic area and there wasn’t a difference. When I watch him do an area it was similar to vacuuming. He went over once and kept it moving. I assumed the person will go over twice then move to another area.

Was a little skeptical a few years back when I first tried them that a process like theirs - without the soaking carpets that take days to completely dry, and heavy chemicals with their fumes/smells - could actually work. That's all I had experienced in the past with carpet cleaners.
But, wow, was I impressed. They have cleaned the carpet three times in the past three years and I love it. No smells, no soaked carpets and REALLY cleaned.
I am particularly impressed with the owner and his approach to his business and the way he treats customers. He chose to take a risk and become a business owner, worked very hard and now has a VERY thriving business. By the way, make SURE you buy the spray bottle of "Zero Water". IT WORKS! I've used it on our very light colored sofa when every thing from salad dressing to ketchup got spilled - spray area until wet, clean white cotton cloth, wiping in toward main part of spill then little more spray of whole area wiping out toward edges to "cut" water line and GONE. Don't usually go on this way but I love when people and products do what they say they will. ZEROREZ does indeed does exactly that!
