Always a friendly person behind the counter
Close and easy accessibility
Ever time I have come to workout, t he wet area is in disceray, the steam room is not clean and up to par.the wirlpool is full of foam and dirty.I talked with a employee that came into the area and let her know that she was the first person I seen that ever came and cleaned the steam room up of the stinky smell an nasty oder that makes a place unsanitary to be staying in.
I just transferred back to this club (I had it on freeze for the winter)...it was GREAT to be back. The instructor was very upbeat and taught a really good Body Pump class. The music was happy and up-lifting.
I'm really excited for the pool to open!
I can get a good workout without the crowd.
If your going to have an area for social distancing, and for people with preexisting condtion...enforce it
I miss the Sunday Zumba class!
I've been a member at this facility for more than 20 years. It's about a mile from my house so it's super convenient. It has everything I need to keep myself in shape and cleaned up.
The exercise equipment, facility, and location are good. The locker room is very dated and the steam room is almost never working, it seems.
People are spread out. There is also a neat appearance. The neatness implies clean.
Be open longer hours. 24 hours would be nice. When contract expires probably moving to another gym near by that is open 24 hours. There is no reason to pay a higher amount of dues monthly and then not have more access.
The instructors, time it opens, the new equipment we have been getting.
Great staff. Always pleasant and friendly. Looking forward to be back regularly as soon as the pool, saunas ect. are back up and running. Keep up the good work 👍
Friendliness of the staff.
Monica.
Friendly, close to home, always see someone I know
Please bring back or purchase a new time clock for the pool. For those that are doing interval training, it is a big part.
Facility and instructors
It seems a lot of kids are there that I’m not certain are members. Don’t put weights back, drop weights, over take basketball court, sloppy in locker room. Etc.
Perfect for lifting and cardio. Not too big with other activities. A great place to work out!
The cleanness and the friendliness of the staff.
The family bathroom is very dated and the shower drains into the main changing area which makes it a mess to get kids dressed.
Pool access
Clean. Friendly. Pool is a great option for fitness
I really enjoy that in the women's locker room there is a separate steam room, sauna, and hot tub.
I belong to the gym to go to group fitness classes - love them! Merle Hay’s main problem is the floor in the group fitness room. It is truly like doing cardio classes on concrete. No give like a wood floor would have. It’s hard on feet, knees, and hips. Also Merle Hay has a limited number of classes and is in a bad situation to add because spinning, yoga, and other group fitness classes share the same space. Wish there were more classes and that they each had their own space. At the old Merle Hay location we had a nice wood floor in a large space and there was a separate spinning room. Hickman and Mills Civic have designated spaces for group fitness, spinning, and yoga. Membership for this gym only should be discounted because it offers less.
The instructors are so friendly and helpful especially best. I also am glad to be back after having surgery and seeing that most are wearing masks that work there I wish everyone would
The kids club and classes offered!
Daycare, equipment,space
I work nights and he called me in my middle of the night to tell me I haven’t been going to the gym enough
