Hours the club is open.
Everything. Especially circuit class MWF at noon. And the Steam room. Also love the outside pool. The staff is always very friendly. And Joyce in the cafe is the sweetest lady and makes the best sandwiches and smoothies!

A lot of the equipment needs maintenance, and staff aren’t always there at opening.

Need to have a class that starts off new so people can join it and have like swim classes or something on a Sunday for exercises in the pool most of your classes are during the week and not on a Saturday or Sunday or anything
Who can really recommend a gym in this time of having to wear masks --which is not your fault! I do have a couple of "complaints" that I have been trying to find a time to come in person and discuss when there is a manager present. My contract should have been up in 10/2020 and I have still been getting billed every month with no contract renewal. In February I was charged an additional enrollment fee when I didn't reenroll. About a month or so ago I filled out a form I saw online about being able to go month to month for membership and it said someone would contact me quickly. I never heard from anyone. The rate quoted was less than what I am paying and would not have charged an enrollment fee so I feel it was a little dishonest not to contact me when I requested. Have been busy but will try to come in soon and find out why I am still being charged without renewing my contract or being contacted about it.
I enjoy the pleasant people who check us in in the morning. Love the pool!!
A lot of machines and free weight options to pick from. Tons of space so you aren't having to workout right next to someone the entire time.

The Covid mitigation protocol was almost non-existent. The yoga classes that used to be held Friday morning with Rachel are no longer happening. I love Aspen for the yoga offerings they had. With Genesis that seems to have changed drastically.
I suggest you guys come up with a way members can text issues with equipment, the locker room or other areas of the facility. My gym in Evansville had this feature whereby members could report problems with treadmills, broken accessories for the equipment plus a host of other problems going on with the gym. For example, in the past couple of weeks, the center urinal in the men's locker room (left side) was constantly running (for days), the hose bib in the men's sauna was finally fixed after running for more than two weeks, the drinking fountain in the weight area ran for many days with a sign on it that says "out of order" The faucets in the hand sinks of the men's locker rooms sometimes does not shut off completely and runs after a member walks away. I own a gym in Indiana and we have installed devices to limit this waste to keep our costs down...keeping the gym affordable. Just some suggestions....
A few things are to clean group exercise rooms and floors more frequently. Fix the class login so you can update until the class starts. Speak to instructors that they need to wear their mask during classes and properly the entire time.
I like to swim laps in the pool.

One of the things that has served as a barrier to recommending a friend to join is that the membership fee seemed to fluctuate from week to week (at least when it was 24 Hr Fitness). The equipment is pretty worn...and I would love to have a "massage chair" or something similar, which may sway someone attending Planet Fitness to join ;-)
The environment and people that go there make it for a great experience, you get to know the people and staff and it all feels like they are a second family. Having a vast variety of equipment to work out with is also a plus.

I am disappointed in the safety measures being reduced especially the cardio machines. I won't be using them unless it is off hours.
I have no desire to work out wearing a mask. I used to workout at this location 4 days a week, now 1 day. I've figured out how to maintain a healthy weight and maintain strength and flexibility.
Keep up with the cleaning of the locker rooms, cardio and weight areas. Notice some folks are walking into the gym with out a mask. You do have a sign the outside door indicating this.
A lot of members do not wear their masks correctly.
One member is very loud and disruptive to the normal peaceful club atmosphere. This person sings and talks out loud and has his personal items all over the place. Even taking up both sinks sometimes. He just needs to respect the rest of the members and act accordingly.
I have been beating this same drum for years. The pool never gets the attention it should and is perpetually dirty. The sand has been in there since last Summer along with many things in the bottom. The little automated machine does not clean worth a darn. The timer has not had a battery for months and not sure why the water is always murky? My kids both swim in high school and I never see other public pools that cloudy all of the time.
Overall all I am pretty happy but when you swim three times a week it just gets old dealing with a nasty pool environment.

Expand Racquetball to more facilities. It works when you promote it. Just look at Omaha NE.We have a very active group of players. It is a year round sport. Not seasonal like most sports. You have the only place we can get our fix.
I love the cleanliness, the variety of equipment, classes, and the staff is amazing. They are so friendly and knowledgeable.
