Everything is broken.
Ellypicticals phone shelfs are all broken off.
Stair Master: only ones with TV are out of order.
Treadmills are broken, TV's do not turn on, or wires are hanging off of them.
Equipment Broken: Lat pull down attachment (;ripped foam), hamstring machine (missing knob), row machine (handle), leg press machine (clicks).
Womens locker room: showers broken, sink broken, bathroom stall shut down.
Make sure that the TVs attached to equipment work and are maintained. Closed captioning should be accessible and in working order on all machin
No one reracks their weights, so the plates are always strewn about random machines on the gym floor. Many people don’t wipe down machines either. Additionally, there’s always a group of 4-6 teenagers crowding around a machine talking instead of lifting.
Locker room and showers need to be refreshed. Feels old and dirty.
Locker rooms need to be renovated.
Other than that, pleased with the experience.
Get the renovations done!
Get the air conditioning working and keep the thermostat set at a temperature cool enough for exercise.
Update facility as necessary. Weeks/months go by with things that need to be repaired.
We have been so disappointed with the cleanliness and maintenance of the outdoor pool and baby pool this summer. This is the main reason we join the club. We provided this feedback earlier this year, but the pool continues to be gross. Currently there is a cone and pool in the shallow end to mark a gouge in the concrete floor, and the baby pool is mostly drained with slimy green water in it.
We’re not expecting it to be the Country Club, but is clean and maintained so much to ask for? We’ve come to this club for 20+ years and it used to be a beautiful place, it has really gone downhill.

I love Cindy and Shannon. They are the best instructors . I love seeing my friends and working out at a location minutes from my home. Feel thankful for our club. It’s friendly and inviting.

The inside could use a big upgrade. Adding a bigger sauna would be nice as well.

Never to crazy to get a good work out in. Lots of good equipment to use. Frost desk staff always nice when entering and leaving the gym.

They need to fix the giant holes in the parking lot. Somewhat clean facility but compared to other nearby locations lacking machinery and pool/steam room
Fix the equipment in the weight room and FIX THE AIR CONDITIONING!!!! In the Hutchinson location. It’s always too hot to exercise! Especially in the cardio room. We have been members for several years and the last few years everything has gone down hill. It’s time to do some maintenance and fix things.
The showers are the worst. Only half are working at any given time. And the half that are working, the temperature is impossible to adjust. The minute you turn a shower on, scolding hot water that doesn't cool down is what you will experience. The bathrooms are rarely clean. I've been a member for over 20 years (Prairie Life to Athletic Club to Genesis). Genesis has let the members of 132nd down and owe the members fixes to the problems and an apology. I've heard that other Genesis clubs are alot better but the 132nd is close to my house and I play basketball with a regular group of guys.
Hopefully the showers will get fixed soon but it has been like this for a long time.
I challenge the owners to visit the 132nd & Center location to experience the low standards of the showers.

They were constantly out of towels and I don't feel the pool and locker rooms were as clean as they could be. When I go to the Olathe club, pools always very clean as well as locker room and no problem with a towel shortage. Not sure why the difference.
