Locker rooms and showers are dirty and dated. You must lose thousands of dollars in leaky faucets.
Wish tv’s in aerobics room had personal sound access and ability to change channels
Club staff and trainers
Removed sanitary wipes, treadmills and stair machines are constantly broken. Not enough weight clips for all the bars.
Cleaning men’s wet area could be better. SOLVE the towel problem - there are times I’ve waited 15+ minutes for towels to be available. Stop people from parking their motorcycles on the sidewalk by front door, they can use parking spots like the rest of us.
The camaraderie and the facilities
Love all of the Barre classes and the new yoga fusion instructor!

The locker rooms are falling apart and are disgusting.
Extremely expensive for senior citizen on fixed income. Monthly rate should be discounted for seniors, or go back to letting silver sneakers/renew in. That way we could do more add one with trainers and tennis drills.

I like visiting the different locations and meeting all the different people. Hickman is my original location but await the renovations that are to happen "next year," next year being this year. Is the steam room working? Also, the Mills Civic one needs to fix the whirlpool. That has gone on long enough. There must be plenty of traffic in both locations to cause a lot of rundowns. What can you do to avoid this? I also look forward to the southside updates and seeing how this location could be placed in a mall.

REPAIR THINGS THAT NEED TO BE REPAIRED, REPLACED FOR ME TO RECOMMEND GENESIS ON HICKMAN TO OTHERS. RIGHT NOW, THE WINDOW IN THE INNER DOOR ONTO THE #6 TENNIS COURT HAS BEEN BROKEN FOR A YEAR; THE MAIN HALL WAY CAN’T BE USED BECAUSE OF LEAKS IN THE ROOF. BUCKETS ARE THROUGHOUT THE FACILITY TO CATCH WATER LEAKING FROM THE ROOF; NOW ONE OF THE FRONT ENTRANCE DOORS IS UNUSABLE, WAITING FOR A PART. PHYSICALLY, YOUR FACILITY LEAVES A LOT TO BE DESIRED.
The majority of the club seems to be good. We REALLY need to get the showers and the water temperature fixed in the mens locker room. That will drive people away and prevent members from inviting friends to join. I am unable to speak to the condition of the womens locker room
It would be nice if Genesis would give priority
to fixing what they already have ahead of acquiring new properties.
There are aerobic machines that have been out of order for MONTHS.
There is an outlet in the women's locker room that has been out of order for 3 YEARS.
There is a scales in the women's locker room that hasn't worked for about the same amount of time.
There is a clock (near the free weights) that hasn't worked for WEEKS(probably just needs a new battery).
The carpet goes without being vacuumed for days.
Most of my friends have already left Genesis for Planet Fitness where they say the friendly staff are constantly on the move, cleaning and sterilizing the equipment, not standing around visiting. They are constantly encouraging me to join them. I've been coming to this gym since it started as Aspen years ago and it's convenient but I'm seriously considering making the move.
Wake up Genesis, you have serious competition!
Lockers need to be repaired, many elliptical machines are not smooth to exercise on, typically low on towels and several pinch points in walking paths were equipment is too close.

When we first moved to South Fort Collins, CO 10 years ago. Miramont South (name at the time) was a premier club with a strong reputation for cleanliness and a strong brand. Now, this club has many upgrade and general maintenance needs. I have a lot of pictures that do not just show that this facility is not "A" status but would show that it is indeed run-down which impacts referrals, memberships and your brand. If you would like me to send pictures of all the run-down areas as well as broken items on a regular basis to validate the above let me know. The disappointing part is that it would be so great if leadership were to invest back into the club and be something that the community could be proud of again.

Friendly and clean locker room.

The outdoor pools are great
I'd like the front staff to be consistently friendly! It means a lot to me to get a smile and a hello or goodbye, and that happens about 60% of the time- if it could happen most of the time, it would make me feel more comfortable being at the gym!
Man, I love Genesis and the staff, but six of the 12 lights on the two racquetball courts have been burned out for months now, and repeated promises to have them fixed have proven to be hollow. The courts are the only reason I belong, and they're borderline dangerous.
People filming in the gym now is annoying.

I have been taking Pilates classes all summer and the room is extremely hot. The instructors say that one of the A/C units is either not working at all or not working at capacity. I am considering taking my membership to Club Pilates.
Also, the plants around the track are all dead and nothing has been done to remove them. I do realize there are some renovations going on, so hopefully these issues will be resolved soon.
Complete the locker room remodel.
