Not disappointed.
I like the variety of swimming pools. I do water aerobics and I love to do that outside. My granddaughter loves the kids pool and slides.
Has plenty of options. Only thing missing is a straight pull up bar.
Upgrade lockers, saunas, and jacuzzi. Seems like sauna and jacuzzi are always broke down.

We like the flexibility of the hours and locations to be able to work out. However, the maintenance on some of the exercise equipment needs to be more frequent.
More instructor's for senior classes..start new facilities
Your towels are discolored and very dingy actually pretty disgusting. Makes the clients very hesitant to use them. And, to make matters worse, there are very few of them. NUY NEW ONES. And stop telling people there’s a supply chain problem.
"Disappoint" is a really strong word. I love the Tara spot, but it's just little things I've noticed.
- The towel dispensers have been out of commission for a long time, and the water fountains leave something to be desired.
- The functional strength area seems to have become a dumping ground for weights/excess equipment.
- That deadlift bar needs to be more clearly designated as deadlift only. At best someone's going to break it. At worst someone will be broken by it.
- Some of those barbells are nearing retirement age.
- Clips get either stolen, lost, trashed—they could use replacing.
- Weights are always unracked and mixed up. I get it, it's the people and not the employees, but it can make getting a workout in a workout of it's own when you have to hunt down the right weights.
- Could be wrong, but has that 80 lb dumbbell been replaced yet?
- Lately, I've noticed the towels always seem to be out.
I know this list seems nitpicky, but I love this gym. Ownership does a good job, and sometimes the difference between between excellent and good is being nitpicky.
The pool and the large variety of classes available . The locker rooms are being remodeled now, so there are some inconveniences to deal with but I am looking forward to the finished results.

Genesis is always clean and ready when i come to work out or enjoy all the extras they provide! I also like the large variety of equipment and classes. The best part is how nice and helpful the staff is. There is nothing I would change!
It is close to home so very convenient.
Well first and foremost I wanna start with the staff of Genesis. You got to think they are the first people you see when you walk in there . An there always greeting you with a smile!! But for me overall is the people I met there..I can l literally say I have a gym family . An also I love all the equipment
I love the small group classes and the child zone.
The showers in the men's locker rooms are not functional, with few exceptions. Once this is taken care of, I have no complaints.
update the capet and paint place looks old and smelly
The gym is well-organized, clean, and in good repair. When machines are out of order they are well marked and appear to be quickly repaired. The variety of exercise equipment available is quite exhaustive. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the trainers are both experienced and motivating. The fees are reasonable for the product provided.
As a side note the other members of the gym seem to be cordial and non-judgmental of people in varying levels of physical fitness.
It’s clean..all equipment is working. Very friendly personnel.
Get some more barcode tags for new members. A safety squat bar and/or proper squat rack would be great additions.

First of all there is NOT enough space to provide you with the reasons for mine and most of the current members.
1. This facility pales in comparison to Ralston and Westroads faciities in terms of management, cleanliness, and making repairs on a timely basis.
2. The facility doesn't on a normal cleaning on a daily basis
3. On any given day or time you have to beg for towels and WAIT until the dryer is done.
4. In the men's showers, there are only 40- 50% of the showers that are operational or only have EXTREME hot settings or have a shower head
5. The steam room is down operationally for parts and the workout equipment is not as clean as the others.
NOTE: On 3 other surveys, I have informant management they need to MBWA (mangage by wandering around) instead of sitting at desk with their phone or talking with their help...
I'm surprised they're still open...I was ONE of the charter members when Prairie Life opened up and FINALLY sobered up and left for Westroads Genesis last month and glade I did!!!!!
