Excellent gym. Price too high for professional students and their families

THERE DOES NOT SEEM TO BE A BIG INTEREST IN THE CLEANLINESS OR MAINTENANCE OF THE SHOWER AND SPA AREA.
Rehabbing my knee injury has been tough but going to Genesis helps...especially the pool! Love the pool very much. Wish there were some aqua classes early morning as can't make the ones during day due to work. Love the cardio equipment too.
The steam room is not very clean. It has broken and crack tile. Half the time you can’t get the steam to work and even if you use the cold water hose you may or may not get the steam to work. Also staff and front desk not the friendliest. One thing you could do is add an ice machine like Overland Park has.
Not the cleanest. Showers clog so often. Ice machine broke so no cold drinking water. Machines often down.
Friends staff, great pool, awesome machines, and wide variety for everyone.

We have asked and asked and asked for more neoprene weights in the upstairs exercise room. Specifically 15, 12 and 10lb weights. We get the same answer back - there are plenty of weights. Uhh, no there's not and hasnt been for some time. There are 3 12lb weights and 2 15 lb weights. Come to a class on a Monday/Wed/Friday morning at 6 am - come 5 minutes before the class starts and see how many weights are available to you!!! I dare you to try it!!
Seriously, why is this such a big ask. You are promoting good health. We are all trying to get and stay strong. That takes weights! And don't tell us to use the stupid black weights on long bars - that is not the way these classes are taught and they are NOT used at all. Take them to another location. Adapt to what we are asking for. These neoprene weights are not expensive - Please do something about it
I don't find many classes that are applicable for seniors such as water aerobics and restorative yoga.
Repair the hottub!
Keep the place cleaner. Your staff did a once over great cleaning a few months back, but are not keeping up on it. Especially the floor upstairs a d the cardio equipment.
I love that there are locations all over the KC metro area. I love that you guys cater to different types of lifters, it's not always just your basic globo gym equipment.

The Leavenworth location seems to be completely overlooked by the owners of Genesis Health Clubs and it speaks to the type of owner that they are. The rear sign looks like it must belong to a building that has been vacant for some time. The parking lot is not in good shape. Equipment especially in the weight room has been needing replaced long ago. Parts are broken/missing. There is painting that needs to be done on the exterior of the building as well. Management has been full of turnover since the gym's opening and it seems they have trouble filling the positions with qualified staff that genuinely care about the members and are going to spend their time making sure the members have a most successful membership there. I still have yet to receive any compensation for the time the gym was shut down during the state closings even though I have called and inquired.
More kettlebells. Less equipment lying around everywhere.

When signing up I was led to believe that I would be grandfathered in with my membership to Westroads that was not the case. I would like to have access to the Westroads gym.
Some of the people working the front desk are not very friendly.

Lots of squat racks and other equipment. Has everything I need! Staff is friendly and helpful.
