I don't come to this particular club as much anymore because my favorite classes are no longer available in the evenings. Still a good club though!
Most of the clients are there to exercise and not to show off. I feel safe around the open weights. No one really throws or drops weights during the times I go. Plenty of cardio and stretching areas.
I like the options of standing tanning booths, steam room and showers when I want them. I don't use them every time and it is nice to include them into my routine when I do.
The Staff are friendly and easy to talk to. Many of them I know by first name and they know me. It's nice to have a feeling of community or belonging when I walk in through the door and the Staff greet me by name.
Takes 30 minutes to shower because the shower heads are super low flow.
The gym at 103 is pretty good. Except they never have any towels. And when they do they don’t fit around a man’s body. With the amount of complaints on the yelp page you’d think they would buy new towels
Facilities are not maintained well, lockers are falling apart and the facility has frequent A/C issues
The equipment is always broken. Not enough machines. Other than that great
People slamming weights, hogging machines. Sauna been down forever.
Pool is quite old and in need of painting and in some repair. Also, should be swept more often as there is debris and hair in the pool.
It’s a good gym it’s just that the squat racks are always full so I just go to the one down the street on leg day
I love the gym but I think the bathroom area meaning showers, jacuzzi, steam room all the area in general could be cleaner, that’s all
Equipment was always out of order. AC was terrible. Not worth the $90/month I was paying.
Prices, up keep of equipment and classrooms.
Get better equipments and better costumer service.
Only location without towel service. Bathrooms and showers are often unclean. Dumbbells are falling apart and rusted.
The classes and trainers are amazing!
All the facilities are perfect for the members.
Do a better job of providing enough weights in the classroom. Keep the facilities cleaner.
It seems that this location has given up on cleaning and repairs. I understand you will begin a remodel soon but We are still paying a lot for our memberships. Fix the steamroom! Its been not operating properly for many months. If it wasn’t for the FC club Id have canceled my membership.
I would like to get pool schedules on-line.
Better communication with equipment/amenity issues. The hot tub has never been right since it was expanded a few years back. There are several times where you go in and no towels are available. It would be ideal if they were put back into the locker room rather than at the front desk.
Great atmosphere
My only con is the men’s sauna doesn’t work in the morning. I come around 6 before work and the sauna isn’t on. I’ve been told my by staff it’s on a timer that starts at 8ish. Since many come before work, it would be great if it came on when the gym opens.
The staff is most of time unprofessional. They are often on their phones or improperly dressed (head scarves or no uniform at all).
I think the club could benefit from more of the supplement/sample give aways. There are a lot of things on the menu at that cafe that I think most people don’t know exist.
Will seems to be the only staff member that interacts with club members. Everyone else seems to be not engaging.
Newer equipment and regular cleanings.
Fix/maintain the showers in the men’s room, fix the few broken lockers, repaint the paint above the men’s urinals where there are peeled off spots, fix the water fountain on the first floor at the end of the food counter, fix/change the steam room sensor, fill the big pothole in the parking lot.
This is a wonderful gym. The staff is incredibly helpful. And there are a ton of different types of equipment to use.
The staff and instructors are top notch. The facility is clean and management is receptive when something is not right. BT does a great job of keeping the facility up.
Many different types of equipment are broken. Spin cycles are in much need of repair and calibration. Too often there are no small towels available or are left in the laundry basket. Desk staff are not considerate or welcoming (one is particularly great, the others not so much). Soap, paper towels and spray bottles are often left empty in cardio area and in the locker rooms. Cleanliness is an issue everywhere.
I am a swimmer and I love that I can reserve a swim lane at a day and time that works for me!
Honestly, I love the gym and it's a great value membership but it really bothers me that Clement lied to my face about when hot yoga would be starting at least twice, delayed it multiple times, and made it difficult to trust that Genesis would be fulfilling something that was the primary selling point to me for the membership. I waited 6 months for it to be available and almost cancelled my membership over this issue.
The cleanliness and size. It's close to me as well.
Water is running into the facility, there is mold in the ceiling tiles, there is no ice machine and the trees outside are all dying.
