The parking lots are in very poor condition
Free group classes. Excellent instructors.
High standard of member care. Clean facility with lots of workout options. Great class schedule with a variety of options.
I have been to three of your location trying to find what I need. It’s either the pool is closed or the hot tub is shut down. No clocks in the pool area for laps or time of day. No towel service. Feeling like the building is held together w duct tape and a prayer. This experience over the last week has really bothered me. I know 132 is usually better and I understand there can be problems but I am just being honest.
Much preferred the overall layout of the facility when it was Prairie Life. The locker room changes were ridiculous. The locker room was perfect as it was. The cardio equipment got stuffed on the basketball court which now resembles a dungeon. It used to be upstairs where it was open, airy, and bright. When it was purchased from TAC, we were led to believe our membership would allow us entry to all the KC locations. That turned out false, there's an upcharge for some locations. The overall vibe is very different from when it was Prairie Life. It was also better maintained. There is no supervision for the outdoor pools, kids running and screaming everywhere.
Love the location. So easy to stop by after work on my way home! There are plenty of cardio machines but I do wish there were more benches by the free weights available. They fill up fast!
Good equipment, facilities well maintained
Kettle bell classes
It’s dirty. Machines are breaking and when told about broken machines the club does nothing. They don’t enforce no bags on the gym floor rules. Frustrating.

Great environment, beautiful renovation.
Go back to 24 hours open. This is a metro population with 24 hour work conditions and these 6 AM To 6 PM hours have to end. Let us all be able to exercise and not the others who go to bed to sleep from 8 PM to 6 AM and they easily have access to your facilities
Air needs to be turned on its humid in there.Alot of benches are torn and need to be fixed.Need more handles and attachments for all the cable machines.Same issues but nothing seems to get done.
It is a small gym with not alot of options. The classes are limited, there is no pool or jacuzzi. The locker rooms are small, not a huge weight room, no track. We toured the Genesis on 84th and Q this weekend and we were amazed how much nicer it was and has way more variety.
Remove rust or pollen or powder off the metal weights. Need more air circulation in the weight room.
Lighting for tennis in horrible. Worst court lighting in the region. Almost unplayable for matches. Othe Genesis clubs in the metro much better.
Pool heater, hot tub jets, just always something not working. Other then that, pretty decent club
Men’s steam room has been out of order for several months.
The indoor tennis is what attracted me to Miramont South 10 years ago and it is what keeps me coming back.
How clean and organized it is. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The locker room is very stylish. Thanks for the air ionizer. I feel safer knowing that Genesis is concerned about my health and safety.
I have really enjoyed this location however updated equipment would be great. Also the gym is always uncomfortably warm. It would be great if they would update this location like they did the 132nd and Center location. Also more squat racks would be great. However the staff is always very friendly and they do a great job keeping the gym clean.
Sauna in girls locker room. The room does not get hot enough to sweat and is too much “dry heat” making it hard on the throat to breathe.
Provide small towels, similar to Cass location.
There were some equipment not found I prefer to use during workout.
Its clean always, equipment is usually almost always working, staff is friendly, and even when it's busy there's always stuff to do!
So many options.

Don’t have anything specific. Just know that a lot of my friends have left cause it is very expensive compared to other clubs in town
FIX THE STEAM ROOM!!! It is what motivates me to come workout. I have been a member since the opening of Prarie Life. I have been discouraged by the amount of time the womens steam room has been out of commission the past couple years!!!!!!
I'd like to see Group Active come back. I was disappointed to see that it wasn't on the class schedule any longer.
The weight organization is not good. There are way to many sets of 35’s and most of the racks don’t even have enough spots to hold all 6 types of weights. Adding more prongs to each weight rack would fix this. Someone with even minor experience with welding would be able to easily add more prongs to the racks. Better organization of the cable attachments is needed as well. Having them lay around everywhere looks very trashy.
Some suggestions for equipment to add: Maximum advantage cable attachments, sissy squat platform, hex deadlift bar.
