Location, cleanliness, pool and hot tub
It is just very unclean and the racks upstairs are a mess. Things just seem to be falling apart. Need much big updates.
Just started coming back. Class sizes are good and the club looks clean. Members still need to clean equipment.
Dry sauna and working hot tub and steam room.
I have been a member at this location for many years and gone through several ownership changes. At each change in management it has gone downhill.
*The club is no longer cleaned regularly, or at least I do not see it happening and it looks dirty
*Machines are often not maintained (rowing machines, elipticals, etc)
*The pool is closed - a lot
*Many staff seem to not know what is going on (I asked about membership for my daughter, and the person I spoke with didn't know about the radio special advertised and said it was not available, I got in my car and heard the ad on my way out of the parking lot)
I used to recommend this gym to everyone, I loved it. Now I just go work out and don't refer others. :(
Water classes
Love the water and the pools always seem to have issues!
The instructors are great. Jenny P's classes are challenging and fun!
The pool
At this time I am only doing pilates with Anne. Have not used other parts of the club. Love my pilates workout.
Everything except the that the sauna/steam/hot tub still isn’t done with inspection 4 months later
The staff- the hours- the equipment all go together to make your workout experience very enjoyable.
Friendliness of staff/personnel.
Pool closed x 2 weeks and no means of notification for this. We are members for the pool and water classes.
Friendly staff, complementary ice cubes and filtered water, got bag of ice for me when I got hurt, hot & fresh towels, racquetball courts almost always available.
Fix the equipment in a timely manner. Elliptical machine E-48 has been broken for over a month. There are a number of other weight machines and aerobic machines that also are down for parts or maintenance for over several weeks.
Several of the men's shower valves need replacement. The second one in has been broken for over a month. It rotates 360 degrees! You're lucky if you can turn it off once you get it turned on.
Finally, and most importantly, you need to post some basic rules of appropriate behavior or etiquette, such as "You can only use, or claim to use, one machine at a time." Some patrons seem to believe that they can claim more than the machine they are currently using. In effect, setting up their own personal training circuit to the exclusion of everyone else. This is not fair nor right. No one can physically occupy more than one machine at a time. Or as my Mother used to say, "You can only play with one toy at a time."
The friendliness of the staff, the equipment that is available and the proximity it is to my work.

I keep getting different answer about when some of the areas will open after the remodel!!!!!!!
I like the G-Cycle instructors. Each instructor provides their own take on a spin class but all classes are fun, motivational and a great workout.
The remodel is great. There is a wide selection of things to do, all spread out so there's room to enjoy a workout. I particularly like all the group exercise classes.
We have been members for many years. I have been on a "freeze" due to covid - so I inquired about the recent promotion of 45% off the premier membership offering to pay for a year in advance and it was a flat out "no"
Why wouldn't you want to incentivize your loyal customers if we are willing to hand you a years worth of dues on a month-to-month contract?
Thinking about just canceling now.
Locations, price, machines(variety of them).
Only thing I don't like is the closing time for Friday and Saturdays. I work until 6pm. So I do not get off or leave work until 630-7pm.This gives me no time to go workout after work.
New equipment, locker room is awesome and pool is wonderful!
The pricing is good but the equipment routinely isn't working and takes awhile to get fixed. Spray bottles for cleaning the machines are not refilled regularly. Rules are not enforced regarding gym bags on the workout floor. Also the whole building just needs to be renovated.
Friendly, attentive staff, especially Esteban my trainer!! Also, the cleanliness and attention to maintaining a smooth running club!!
I love the classes as Genesis, but I wish that the clubs would focus more on accessibility. As a family, it is difficult to go to the clubs because our son is disabled and uses a wheelchair. We visited Prairie Life (East Lincoln) with Sam and his caregiver and learned there is not a lift for wheelchair users to enter/exit the pool. A club of this size with so many members should be able to provide a means for people with limited mobility to safely enter and exit the pool.
Focuses on lifting. Doesn't try to be all things to all people. Weights and machines are
concentrated in the same space. No walking down long halls. Smaller gym. Get in and get
out. Dry sauna for detoxification which a steam sauna cannot provide. Less social so you
can get something done.
