The cleanliness, the staff are great, and most importantly the sauna!
Towels
Towels inside changing rooms.
Indoor & outdoor pool, coed hot tub by indoor pool, locker rooms with shampoo, conditioner & body wash, cloth curtains on stalls & water extracter for swim suits, trash is under counters where you can just drop trash in.
Better towels,
improve lighting in pool area,
More guess passes
Really enjoy drills and lesson with Kyle Maines. He is a great coach and also has emotional intelligence. Enjoy many opportunities to play tennis at Miramont.Haven't tried other offerings just yet.
The renovation work, great area for weights. I wish though the bathrooms were cleaner and all the renovation work was done. It seems wasteful to have such nice new finishes and then not have it cleaned the grout looks likes it’s 10 years old and the toilets keep flooding.
My personal trainer , Rob, has 100% made my experience at Genesis a positive one!
Not much choices for classes in early evenings. Starting 4:30-5:00 I love group classes. Also gym building needs updated on Hickman rd
Fix the equipment in a more timely manner
one reason is something is always broken, also no swimming suit spinners to wring out your suit. the door was broken for a month last week it was the pool heater the week before that was the hot tub had no bubbles something was broken there. Do you not have maintenance crew/
Dumbbells are getting rusty and broken. Cables need fixed. Benches torn up. Pay a lot of money towards this club it should be used for the equipment
The club is not being maintained as it should. The bathrooms are no clean, the studio’s class has not air conditioning, the floors are not clean. Many treadmills are out off and the earphones connection are no working, just telling some issues.
The locker room is dirty and there is mold on the shower curtains
I like the group classes- yoga and Pilates
It used to be an inviting positive experience to walk into the gym. Now every corner is being cut with rationed towels poor cleaning and unreliable climate control. The yoga rooms at both facilities I utilize had no air conditioning all summer. It is fixed now at the midtown location but stil iffy at 132nd location. I feel like I am paying a premium for a cut rate gym experience. I do love all the yoga instructors however. They are all exceptional.
Towels are stained and look dirty. TVs on machines don’t work. I was never able able to get into my account.
Equipment is always broken. Cleanliness. Lack of good classes in evenings for people with jobs. Restricting "kids" that aren't members and are just there to hang out in the way. Inappropriate male on male behavior in lockerroom areas.
So much it's hard to list everything.
The people working the front desk are extremely nice. They greet you with a smile and always willing to assist you with your needs.
Change the moldy shower curtains
Not a friendly vibe from staff, often dirty and towels empty
The zero judgment environment.
The staff is friendly and the place is clean
Stay open later on weekends.. go back to pre covid times. Bring back the day time cleaners, bring back the sanitizer wipes, fix the clock in woman's bathroom and the clock by the squat rack that hasn't been working since we Sprung Forward back in March, have better channels on the TV and make sure the chiefs games are being shown, also fix equipment faster turnaround, need new stretch bands (they are all gone and we have to bring our own now). The cleanliness has gone down hill since there isn't someone throughout the day anymore. Managers who walk around should be paying more attention to detail of things to restock and the equipment vs just walking around together talking to one another.
MORE YOGA classes. There are so few that it is super hard to make them. They are the whole reason i joined;)
You have a lot of non functional equipment. One of the rowing machines has no readout. Your televisions do not work.
Maybe think of an easy way to report broken equipment. Maybe small kiosks stationed around.
Expand! More equipment and options would be great.
It’s new. It has the machines I like. It’s usually less busy than independence.
