Group fitness and tennis are great! My son likes the Olympic weight equipment.
The staff was very helpful
It’s a little expensive. Lowering membership prices and membership add-on prices would be nice.
Speaking of the westroads location:
Your missing a stretching cage or even a stretching area. Only gym in town that doesn't have one.
How come no sauna?
Could use more clamps for benches. Seem to always have to hunt them down.
Pot holes in the parking lot are terrible.
Equipment maintenance.
Poor communication and not a great pool option for families
Easy access to trainers.
Shampoo the nasty carpets and thoroughly clean the bathrooms!
Pls invest in this location and remodel locker rooms/ sauna/ steam room
Zack and Josh are great folks there but without remodeling this club people will leave to other nicer gyms in the area.

Sauna does not work and very suspicious business practices regarding not allowing all genesis guests to visit.
It’s spacious. You are not working out right on top of someone else.

The water system, there’s something in it that isn’t right.
You haven’t even opened up the counter for protein shakes. Frequently out of towels. One Sun there was zero shampoo or soap in the men’s locker room. When I mentioned it to staff they said they knew and were completely out. Why wasn’t Managment at Walmart buying it?

The gym is dirty. The pool is closed often. Who ever heard of a gym without hot water? There is often no hot water. When things are broken they remain unfixed for weeks. The steam room is filthy. The showers don’t work.
Clean the changing room carpet.
Nice upgrades to facility, but poorly managed. Potholes all over parking lot. Towels are old and worn. No swim suit dryers or scales in locker rooms. Only one scale in main public upstairs area which makes no sense. Hot tub and saunas not usable despite return to post-covid normalcy. Soap dispensers in showers often need filing.
Genesis has been buying up additional gyms. Meanwhile, their biggest existing gym in olathe has sinks that don’t work, gross carpets, and lockers that are always screwed up.
A couple of things have recently come to my attention at the club. I arrive at around 5:30 am and have noticed a number of issues. The men’s locker room has mis-matched vanity light bulbs, the men’s bathroom stalls often have puddles of water around them in the morning, the outdoor pool is not clean (sticks and leaves), also the hot tub has some soap scum type of film on the top. Lastly, I took a free tennis class and then tried to purchase the getting started class tennis class, the front desk person said they couldn’t ring me up and someone would call me back. I didn’t get a call, so I called back 2 days later and they said someone would call me back. I tried again 2 days after that - they said someone would call to charge me for the class. I never got a call back. So I have given up taking the class and am taking one at another club. In general the gym is nice, but these items certainly concern me as a member.
I like most all the staff and the facilities have most of what I use. The sauna is nice and I use that often. Showers could use some attention but other than that the gym just feels familiar and comfortable.

The upstairs is not taken care of very well any more. Floors are dirty, equipment is dusty and outdated.
