Great Group Power Class and great personal training from Kirby!! Staff is very friendly.
Poor billing system. My checking account numbers changed without my knowing it so you couldn’t get my payment you allowed this to continue for 5 months without contacting me so suddenly I was over 400.00 in debt! You should eat that. I would have corrected the situation if I had known.
Sometimes it takes a long time to get equipment fixed and in working order, but the manager is very good at responding to the issues brought to her attention.
It is in a great location, and I appreciate how everything is well maintained. The staff is wonderful!
The locker room/showers have now been non-functional since May. As a swimmer, this is extremely inconvenient. I have also noticed that there really has been no progress on the showers over the past 2 weeks -- it looks virtually the same. I know you have already lost members because of this and I may need to switch clubs as well -- there is really no excuse for the renovations to be taking this long. And there are no apologies to members (or decreased club fees) whatsoever.
The machines stay broke. Looks like the staff who is responsible about getting these things fixed is not eager to do so. All cable or mechanism parts such as leg curls, leg extensions and sitting calf machine. No good basketballs to shoot hoops, they all are either flat or just terrible. We pay to much a month to not have these things fixed and taken care of.
Not enough aerobic equipment for aka amputees
Love the wide veriety of cardio, free weights and weight machines. Towel service has improved but can be better. Men's restroom's need to improve with maintenance. Need to unclog the sinks and repair the urnal. Men's shower needs bulb replacement's and keep soap dispensors filled.
Get things to work. Several of the TV's are not working overhead. The TV's don't work on all the treadmills. It takes forever to get equipment fixed. It took months to fix the spine machine and it still is questionable. I don't feel I can invite someone to a facility where much of the equipment is not working. Since the club changed ownership, it has not been as good.
I am really disappointed with how much the club has run down. The leg extension and cybex squat are always broken, 3 of the Mens bathroom sinks have been clogged for over 3 months. And it takes forever for them to get fixed. I’ve been a member is the club was purchased from 24 hr fitness but it’s really upsetting to see Genesis like this
Repair machines that don't work instead of posting signs that stay there for weeks and weeks. Repaint the parking stripes, this time properly so they last.
Dirty - Men's shower, steam room and bathrooms. Old towels, dirty exercise mats.
Decent equipment, but male locker room is bad. Floor is always covered in pee and there isn't even any of the pads in the urinal.
The changing rooms and take the locks off the doors.
Add a pool and a hot tub.
The gym needs to be cleaner

Bigger towela
One of the fans in the big equipment room hasn't been working at least since May. I mentioned this to the front desk months ago, and they said someone was coming to fix it. It can get uncomfortably hot in that room when working out. Not good.
After 33 years of being a member there I was stopped at the South Genesis and said I couldn't go there and I belong to the club Genesis And also at the Fort Collins club Genesis somebody keeps stealing my towel while I'm in the shower or The steamroom
I love this gym for a lot of reasons. I only have 2 areas where I would recommend corrective action.
1. The men's locker/restroom needs to be sanitized more frequently. Frequently, I walk into the locker room and there is an unpleasant odor that makes you want to hold your breath while you're in there. (Which is impossible by the way)
2. There are a couple of pieces of equipment that need to be serviced. One is the sitting pec and shoulder machine and the other is the sitting chest machine. You sit down to begin exercising and the seat drops six inches down from where you sit the lever, and it jars your spine and literally risks bodily harm. May be this doesn't bother the 30-year old clients but, it sure does bother this 64 year old.
