Steam Room
The locker room is not kept clean, same for showers.
Pool has had problems for a long time. The indoor pool looks cloudy alot, is over filled, and is cold most of the time. During the summer, the outdoor pool was dirty & cold. The towels are in poor shape & not always available. The parking lot is not shoveled properly when it snows & can be very slick as it seems there is no ice melt put down.
Offer classes that are offered at the other Genesis gyms.
The equipment is nice and clean. The renovations have been a great upgrade.
The trainers are well knowledgeable. They are easy to work with and very flexible in scheduling workouts.

I've switched to the Overland Park location. Ridgeview is old and dirty. Half the lockers don't function. The early morning weekday clientele has some real jerks. Several of them will setup camp at a squat rack and occupy it for over an hour resulting in few opportunities to use them. Its an overall disgusting gym due tot he conditions and people.
clean the place more, updated equipment, cardio equipment is falling apart and needs fixed. some weeks more than 3 machines are down at a time, sometimes room is limited by the peck fly, could the machines be moved around to make more room where needed,
the pros is the cost, its cheaper than lifetime fitness for a large family.
Wonderful staff and love the open hours.
There is often a lack of clean/dry towels available. Water pressure/temperature is unpredictable in the men's showers
Poor Customer Service and Billing support.
Fix the stationary bikes. The recumbent & old Spin Class bikes. Multiple need attention. I’ve asked twice over the last 2 months…….
Love the space and cardio equipment
The cleanliness of the women’s locker room and of the pool area needs to be addressed. The showers are usually very dirty and the shower curtains moldy. It is a shame it is not being better maintained since it is a very new facility. The pool area often smells badly and there is green stuff growing on the edges of the pool where it is painted black. Overall since I’ve been coming the cleanliness of these two areas has been an ongoing problem.
Have more Yoga classes please
Dry sauna in locker rooms, clean locker rooms / bathrooms, friendly staff, affordable membership rates, pickleball allowed on outdoor tennis courts (!!!), refreshing Eucalyptus (?) smell throughout the facility, great selection of equipment, timely resolution of fixes
Welcoming friendly atmosphere with adults of all age groups. Lots of class options are a plus if someone wants a more social atmosphere. Plenty of nutritional supplements to choose from. The trainers are knowledgeable and helpful. And the extra fun events are an added advantage.
There is so much change over you do not know who the general manager is Or any staff and who the trainers are you don’t know anything about who manages that club. It would be nice if it had some of the same stuff that other facilities have. Only familiar faces are the front desk and Katy. Everybody else stays in the offices. The do not greet you.
Only reason I am there is because of the nursery and I can get my daughter to the nursery while I work out

Basketball courts need upgraded BAD. Same with basketballs
The equipment is not maintained. The bikes are worthless and there is always something broken in the locker rooms.

Showers could use a good scrubbing in the grout.=Manhattan, KS Gym
Fix the roof so whenever it rains it doesn't leak buckets into the Cycling Room every time in the Manhattan KS gym and sporadically around the gym as well. Changing the ceiling tiles when it stops raining does not solve the problem. Although removing damp ceiling tiles should also happen as mold starts to grow and members are breathing that in.

I enjoy doing Group Ex classes, and I really like the cycling classes. I just wish Midtown offered more cycling classes after 5 PM so I could attend! Right now I can only make the Monday 5:45 PM evening class and the Saturday 8:00 AM morning class!
Very nice people. Facilities are great. Our trainer, Judy Smith is wonderful.
