The interior of the gym needs a lot of repairs and paint!
Still can't believe how long it took to get the steam room up and running.
No privacy taking a shower with no curtains
Still can't understand how there are 6 televisions and you can't hear them through some
type of blue tooth systems on your phone or headphones while using the cardio equipment.
Having towel availability clear away from the locker rooms is inconvenient.. If you need an extra towel you have to get dressed walk completely and then walk across the lobby to get a towel.
Good customer service. Equipment that I want.
It's a very pleasant, airy place to work out. I just swim and having the option of doing so outside (when the weather is right) or inside is a big bonus. The folks who work there are very pleasant and helpful.
I like the fact that you don’t have to pay extra for the classes
I do not use the Genesis location at 13th and West street.
Cleanliness is subpar. No towel service.

I started taking classes at W. 13th when the classroom AC didn't work well all summer. Now I am adding the Goddard Genesis as well as they start new and different classes. I do miss the people at W Central though!
The water classes are my favorite. But also the fact that you have a wide variety of other classes and machines to use is great also.
Convenient
So convenient in and out and friendly, kind staff. Easy scheduling, great yoga, high quality instructors, excellent precor machines, lovely pool, sauna and hot tub.

The staff has increased my knowledge about to best ways to improve my health.
Every time I go to the club, I see wet footprints from the men’s locker room heading toward the pool. Every time. Nip that in the bud. It’s unsightly, inconsiderate, messy, and dangerous.
The place needs to be keep up in cleanliness, towels and working equipment. I realize updates are being made. However, the place just isn’t keep clean ( sanitized ).
I am a long time member (for over 20 years) and was hesitant and excited when Genesis took over the Fort Collins Club. Hesitant about new owners but excited about new classes and building renovation. However, I am so disappointed about how Genesis handled the COVID-19 pandemic and health/safety protocols in Fort Collins CO. I did not ever feel safe in the club during that time - members who did not wish to abide by the health/safety protocols of our county and state were accommodated over other members. Such members were verbally abusive to other members (e.g., who were wearings masks, asked for personal space) and health club staff (e.g., confronted class instructors who asked them to wear or fix their mask) - I witnessed this on more than one occasion. The club staff did not do anything except to tell staff and members not to ask others to follow the rules. Because of this, I stopped attending the club for a long time. I returned to regularly attendance earlier this year but am concerned about how Genesis will handle other health concerns in the future. Because Genesis is a health club, I hope they take serious the health of their members.
Maintenance of equipment and facilities could be improved at both Genesis South and the Fort Collins Club.
Rowing machines and recumbent bicycles and weights provide a complete workout. My favorite is yoga.

That things work properly or repaired quick
Everyone is kind. I work with a trainer who is professional, thorough, understanding and flexible. I have yet to take any classes or use the pool. Like the mix of different people. Like the laid back environment.
The sauna has been out of service for about 4 months
My Tennis partner had Rotator Cuff surgery and I need a new singles partner
