The staff, the environment, and the use of multiple machines. Great environment to workout
The staff is very friendly. The gym is clean and they supply disinfectant and cloths so you can clean before and after using the equipment.
Convenient location to work and home.
Cleanliness, quality of facility and friendly staff. Shake Bar!!
Housekeeping- there are dead bugs in light fixtures and dust caked on exhaust fans in room heaters in the group classroom for Pilates and yoga by the cycling room and the air return screen by the scale in the womens locker room

Active step class. Trainers are helpful. Cardio tennis.
The people working there are nice. It is clean.
The facilities at the Hickman location are terrible. I can’t believe that year after year this place doesn’t get fixed. The roof is a complete safety hazard and visual eye sore. The dozen or so buckets around to catch dripping water are a tripping hazard, as are the wet floors. I can’t believe management makes its employees work in this environment! I feel bad for them. It is just an insult to every employee as well as the paying members and visitors. The tennis viewing area needs a mega update as the furniture and flooring are ancient. The hallway to the bubble needs cleaned as there is more and more algae all the time. If it weren’t for the AMAZING tennis staff I definitely would not be a member here. The subject of managements/owners lack of attention to the facilities comes up amongst members every time I am here.
Better ventilation in the locker rooms and in general an update to the showers and lockerroom
The pool is the main reason l was disappointed.
We were not able to go several times because of the temperature of the water. I feel that we should have some reimbursement for those days.
This would help compensate for the missed days.
My insurance does not cover this either.
The Midtown location is not very clean and needs to be better maintained (the black half walls around the weight room look terrible).
Blankets should be available as a prop in the room where yoga is taught.
Construction needs finished up. Weekend hours need expanded, especially as tennis court time demand increases over the next few months.
Friendly staff and clientele!
Pool scheduling situation is garbage, never lanes open meanwhile all of the lanes are often empty.
The bar worker with colored hair glares at everyone & will walk around the club mean mugging. It’s a very uncomfortable vibe.
The swim instructor is the same way. Both of them make it an awkward experience.
It’s very overpriced for how poor the service is. Especially considering the judgmental staff.
I especially enjoy the classes. The instructors are so friendly and knowledgeable. Starting with a class or two helps me stay happy and energized all throughout the day!
Love the variety of sports on TV, equipment, daily towels, the track, and friendly staff. Kids gym is nice and the floor is padded for kids which is important for safety. The club is well kept.
Keep equipment in good repair. Don't reserve the pool for private groups to use for large blocks of time.
Feel that when I got there to get my membership workers were friendly but just after sing in they changed, no taking anymore. I don’t go to the gym to socialize but I don’t feel welcoming
Remodeling the Ridgeview facility is way overdue. The carpet and locker rooms are disgusting. The manager is worthless and doesn't do anything to engage with members. I would love to see management open the facility at least a couple days a week and get to know the members, engage with them and get a better understanding of how to make Genesis a better place to workout.
The lack of locker rooms for over 4 months is ridiculous. We pay to have a beyond ordinary club and instead have no conveniences. As a swimmer approaching winter, I can’t imagine having to go out to my car wet and covered with chemicals. Workers are seldom around and progress is minimal. We’ve heard all the excuses…extra workers, almost done, etc. our own eyes tell us the story. Please stop the excuses and get the work done.

All of the amenities, the various pieces of equipment to use and that it is always clean and organized.
More early morning (5:15-5:30ish) classes.
Broken equipment is not repaired/replaced promptly. The swimming pool heater is out, half the hot tub spigots have been out for months. I have never seen a business that neglects its own equipment to this extent.
I am also annoyed that you do not honor the Silver Sneakers program. Surely you could negotiate with the insurance companies so that you would get a fair membership fee at a lower cost for Seniors.
I assumed that since I live with my daughter and her family I could be on their family plan, but was not allowed that privilege. You just don't seem to be all that concerned about your members.
Relabel weights where numbering has wore off and fix handles on ellipticals. Fit in one or two more power lifting stations.
