The gym is in a bit of a dilapidated state. Could be cleaned, some equipment repaired. The Air Conditioning is up too high and blasting directly on us when sweaty which is uncomfortable and could induce a cold.
Towels never clean. Generally dirty and poorly kept.
Fix the Leg Extension and Leg Curl machines
Convenient location.
Friendly staff, not claustrophobic, trainers really care about their trainees. Worth every penny.
Only 2 showers function in the Men's Locker Rooms, the whirlpool has been down for a month, and the swim suit water extractor has been broken for several months.

Genesis (Mills Civic) provides a great sense of supportive community. There are always plenty of staff, trainers, and other folks around to answer questions or cheer you on as you work toward your personal goals. I also appreciate the variety in the classes.
I like the variety of gym equipment, classes offered, and cleanliness
I enjoy the morning workout classes. The instructors are excellent and the environment is very supportive.
Way too hot in there, only a couple of small fans, it should be kept cooler or add more fans. It’s not safe to workout when it is already hot in the building. Also the price is way higher than most places you can go
Equipment is old and building is falling apart
I've never been to that location because it doesnt have a steam room I go to the old Prarie Life Genesis location. I signed up there because it was closer to my house and the weather was bad but have never worked out there.

I joined strictly for the pool. It went out of service 3 weeks after I joined.
We were charged $45 for an enhancement fee this past month with no advanced warning. We did not agree to or sign anything. I tried calling the corporate billing department only to get their voicemail and have not heard back from anyone. I want this charge reversed.
I like the staff-trainers, management, reception/everyone is friendly.

Nobody could answer where the extra 45 dollar charge came from. I was told the club closes early for a deep cleaning once a week and yet I see the same sweat stains on the equipment week after week. Some equipment has been broken ever since ai joined. I was told I would hear from someone about my concerns. Never once a call or someone to show any concern. No you can not fix it. I paid off my contract and cancelled my membership and am going to another much better gym where you are not just a bank account.
The women’s locker room needs to be cleaned more regularly. I’ve walked over sticky, dried up vomit on the bathroom floor that was left there for a long time and the bathroom stalls smell like urine.
There is also always a lack of towels at front desk.
Studio 1 has been without air conditioning most of the summer, and it is still not fixed. The room has been 75-77 degrees before class starts, and that is with at least 10 fans running and 2 air conditioners.
The club has been getting run down and is not being fixed up.
It's not for everyone. (Like Nebraska)
Also - never ending construction. Will it ever be done?
Something is always broken, the ceiling leaks, the basketballs in the gym look like you found them in a ditch, the teenage staff are rude, the cafe has ridiculously short hours, the yearly maintenance fee should go to specifically the location we use. I'm sick of paying for maintenance where I don't even work out. Would you recommend this to a friend or business associate and ruin your reputation?
You do not need to improve. Every person has different needs. So it depends on the person if I can recommed Genesis to them.

Not disappointed at all. I use the tennis club because of the proximity to home. Always about location and I love that club! I would recommend that. I have done that
