Lack of communication regarding status of repairs to my camper. Charged my credit card for repairs without any forewarning or communication that repairs had been completed, and that after not communicating regarding a 1 month delay in the repairs. Called/ emailed twice to request an update and didn't receive a callback.
Items working when we looked at the Airstream Interstate it were working - we were scheduled to pick it up a week later and called the day before pickup to confirm it was ready. We learned some items were not completed and we said we'd wait - that was not acceptable with management. We went on the scheduled to day to find the radio had been disabled when batteries were removed. The radio needed a password which we were told would be obtained from the previous owner and we'd get a call. We did get a call but the owner did not know the password. We were told to. reset it ourselves - we couldn't. A follow up call from Alpin Haus asked us to return for the under mount spare tire carrier and they would fix the radio and install the missing shade on the back door. Departure from our house a little after 6:00 am with the van resulted in getting there at 8:00 as requested - to learn the spare tire part was not in, they could not fix the radio and the installed shade (one of two back door windows) was not in sync. When one shade went up, the other went down. Return to our house was 5:45 pm - zero accomplished. The next week we took it back and it was there 4 weeks - minus one day.
The radio works, the spare tire is underneath and the shades are still out of sync, On the plus side, people were nice and we understand you don't sell Airstreams but you took it in, the price was not cheap and we should have not have to made 3 round trips (150 miles each way for the above). Don't start us on the financial guy..20 questions about how we were going to pay for it...like it was his business? Bank Loan, IRA money??? Leaving on 11/25 was a relief because we knew it would be our last trip there. When we get it out of storage, we'll take it to an Airstream dealer for the shade issue.
Communication is lacking. There are too many people involved when dealing with service. We had to deal with several people to get our service needs taken care of. Were told on several occasions that someone would call us back and then they never did. We had to initiate the contact most of the time as return phone calls were not received. We were told that we would receive some new parts on the motor home we purchased however that never happened. When it came time to pay we were told our form of payment got declined. We asked them to run it again as we knew form of payment was good. Again we were told it got denied. Then they gave us the last four digits of credit card being used It was not even our card number. When they used the correct card it went through fine. We pride ourselves on having excellent credit and this was very embarrassing. I am now very nervous that they have our credit card information on file. What services someone else receives are they going to charge to my card? Could easily happen since they obviously tried to charge our invoice to someone else. Need one person in service that everything goes through to control communication and payments.
With all that being said our experience with sales was good.
Very professional and knowledgeable staff, friendly and made the buying experience very comfortable and personal.
Would like to thank our salesman Brian Miller for being patient and for selling us the perfect camper. Everyone from Joshua the finance guy to Rich our walk-through guy to Mike in the parts department were awesome people. Would definitely go back to Saratoga Alpin Haus for another camper if ever needed.
Did not return my calls and diagnostic fees too high.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. Both Mark and Keith worked hard to make sure I got what I wanted and needed.
Professional, well informed sales staff. Reliable service staff. Have been very happy with Alpin Haus....
Friendliness and responding to the needs of the customer
Better customer service
You can start by fixing the all the discrepancies from when I picked it up NEW. Your service department is inept service center I have ever had to deal with in all these years. My trailer sat there for weeks and NOTHING got done. Had a ripped seal on the slide out (front side) the idiot cut off the tail of the seal on the back side and said he fixed it. Still waiting for parts that were ordered in JULY. They never call you back. It got to the point where they were going to send me the parts and I was to fix it myself. That could not even happen. My next step is to reach out to Forest River and see what can be done about this. This has been by far the WORST experience I have ever had purchasing a new vehicle and you have the balls to ask if I would recommend your establishment. You want to make it right, GET MY TRAILER FIXED. So it can look and perform like the new trailer I paid for.
Great service and attention to detail during the whole process of trade in of our old trailer and purchase off our new Grand Design Imagine. Jake was in touch with us frequently during the wait for our new trailer, and James made the paperwork process quick and easy. Can’t wait for Spring to come so we can start enjoying the 2021 season.
Every one we dealt with in reference to our repair has communicated beautifully.
Prompt and courteous
Variety, decent people.
Sales and service are excellent
It was a pleasurable experience buying our camper
And we did have some issues but were addressed by service and we are happy campers
Service people are personable and understanding. They service your RV professionally. They service on time and don't do work without customer authorization. Their facility is well kept. They offer advise that could educate you to maintain your RV or save you labor costs, to do it yourself.
The service we received was excellent ! Great people!
A scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent, I didn't have the opportunity to test all of these, but the Alpin Haus staff got most of them.
Art and Josh were wonderful to us ! We were so happy to purchase our RV from
them!
EXCELLANT service dept. EVERYTHING I could ask for
Since we have had so many problems with our refrigerator Domenic sent a service technician to diagnose what needed to be done to repair our refrigerator. After the technician diagnosed the issue and explained what needed to be done to repair the refrigerator, and that it needed to be brought back to their shop. Domenic called me that afternoon and also explained the repair and where to bring the camper. The technician and Domenic were both extremely helpful, polite, and stated that if we had to leave it until Spring it would not be an issue.
Many to chose from to get a perfect fit
You should be able to do a NY state inspection on motor homes
Quality products and customer-oriented service.
The sales part of the transaction was great, the service part needs much improvement. Communication is horrible and the ability to stand behind the product they sell.
Très bon services
Up front pricing that is right! They tell the truth.
Great service.
