I paid $550 for an energy audit and didn't receive a report. Company is unreachable by phone and not responding to emails. Starting the process with my credit card company to obtain a refund.

Our inspector became ill shortly before our scheduled inspection. We appreciated the quick response and willingness of another inspector from Amerispec to step in and perform our inspection the same day we were already scheduled. He was professional and kept thanking us for our patience. It seems rare these days for a business to put their customers first, but we felt very cared for and appreciated by Amerispec.

I am buying this house from an out of state location so the most important thing I need is a dedicated thorough home inspection and good eyes on this home that I do not have there. So far I am comfortable with the service I have received and the inspector that came to phase 1 was very professional and very courteous and more than ready to answer all my questions to my satisfaction. I was in the building trades for 35 plus years so I am familiar with building construction and all the trade work involved in completing this project so the very most important thing I can ask for is as many pictures as an inspector can give me and I can immediately see good work and will see bad shoddy work just as fast, and this inspection has provided that. I am looking forward to the next phase and seeing how well the inspector can help me get this project completed.
Tech was efficient and had all the necessary tools needed for this general home inspection. Gave me (the buyer) info on where shut off valves were located.
