I am buying this house from an out of state location so the most important thing I need is a dedicated thorough home inspection and good eyes on this home that I do not have there. So far I am comfortable with the service I have received and the inspector that came to phase 1 was very professional and very courteous and more than ready to answer all my questions to my satisfaction. I was in the building trades for 35 plus years so I am familiar with building construction and all the trade work involved in completing this project so the very most important thing I can ask for is as many pictures as an inspector can give me and I can immediately see good work and will see bad shoddy work just as fast, and this inspection has provided that. I am looking forward to the next phase and seeing how well the inspector can help me get this project completed.
Tech was efficient and had all the necessary tools needed for this general home inspection. Gave me (the buyer) info on where shut off valves were located.

Representative introduced himself, was curious & professional, and kept us informed throughout the process. At the end of the I section, took time to review report, explain items, and provide details. He was clearly focused on customer experience and represented his work well.

Inspectors are always on time. The reports are thorough and easy to follow in that agents and buyers can locate where the repairs are to be performed because they are noted in capitals.
The inspectors are helpful when presenting the findings to Buyers in that they answer questions fully and, where possible, show the buyer where the issues are. I think that agents and buyers walk away from the "wrap-up" with their questions answered. But, Amerispec is always willing to take questions later as well.

I really like the fact on how detailed the report was. The color code used on the report showed the items that need the most attention. I also like how it was noted what type of person would be needed to make the repairs.

The transparency and overall knowledge of the inspector, Doug Doss. As a first time home buyer and not familiar with some of the functions of a home - Doug did a fantastic job of explaining what parts of the home are, why they are there, what they do and how to maintain these parts and signs to look for when something is running properly. I left with a better sense of comfort after his inspection and not sure I would have trusted anyone else.
