Amazing job .
Overall good
The gentleman Bud was amazing. He took his time to inspect everything and it just made me feel more secure moving in.
I want to look at your other services too.
Thank you so much

Colleen is the best. Trustworthy, thorough, and experienced.
The perfect inspector understands they need to do a good job,,fair to all, but also not be a deal killer. Sometimes this just means not being dramatic about findings.
Thank you!
The inspector was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Let’s just say the experience left me with serious doubts about going ahead with the program. The man that came was not fully trained or experienced enough. I doubt his report would be accurate.
Awesome employee
Very informative
Inspectors were courteous and pleasant. The inspection was completed within the suggested period of time and any area disturbed during access was returned to previous state when finished.

Quick, friendly, accurate
I liked that you were quick to respond to my messages. The only critique is the fact that it took several months to get the inspection scheduled.

Gary is so professional and nice person. He went through with us all details of inspected items and answered my questions in patient.
Thank you Gary!
I'm not really disappointed the service was satisfactory for the most part. AmeriSpec had a few months of delays in arranging the appointment and it's only after I sent an email to Greener Homes who was asking if I was still interested in the program did Shaylin contact me.
It would be cool if these reports could also include the average R-value of your typical market window, door, and insulation in today's standards but that might be asking too much. My water heater should also be electric but it was listed as natural gas. The only propane fueled appliance in the house is the propane forced air.
I neglected to bring up that I was interested in resiliency measures and recommendations as well, considering that I run two electric dehumidifiers in the basement to bring the humidity from 70% to 45-50%, But since I don't see a recommendation for putting in a moisture barrier or taking on moisture-proofing practices I now can't explore that option further in combination with another recommended retrofit. But perhaps the house was assessed and determined that moisture buildup is not a problem in this basement which is why it wasn't mentioned.
I will still explore retrofits and maybe replace a door or some windows after discussing it with a carpenter and determining eligibility for the replacement. I've learned that apparently insulation has to be done with an approved contractor and the closest one is based out of Kelowna so that seems to be out of the picture now too. Unless I'm reading into this wrong, the best solution may be to just have a contractor replace one door in the house and get the post-retrofit inspection with AmeriSpec and write off this program as a loss since I've already been limited in what measures I can take to improve the energy efficiency of the house.
Quick and thorough.
