I was super happy with inspector, Neal Peter. He took time to review every aspect of my new home. From minor defects to larger issues, he explained things well and in layman's terms so I felt comfortable with potential repairs. Neal came highly recommended and he did not disappoint. I rated Amerispec as a 9, only because I have no experience with the other inspectors, but if they are all as good as Neal, I give them a 10 ! - Thanks Neal.
I don’t know of anyone to be recommended most of my neighborhood has done their windows replaced. If I know anyone then I might recommend you.

There were so many things wrong with this house that I would have never known, moved in and had a nightmare on my hands. But thanks to Jeff and AmeriSpec I will be looking for another house. From the moment I met the technician Steven I felt comfortable and at ease. He asked about my plans for my house to get an idea what rebates I may be interested and eligible to apply for. He was a very knowledgeable technician who explained what the inspection entailed and what he was going to do in detail. He answered all my questions as he was doing his inspection and was professional and friendly. Upon completion of his inspection he went through the Rebate program pamphlet and once again explained all the rebates in detail and how it would apply to my situation. I also asked about putting a hot water tank in the furnace room and removing the boiler off the furnace so that I would use less oil and he explained about a rebate that is part of Efficiency Nova Scotia but not part of Amerispec that I could access. He went on to explain about the administration of getting the rebate money back for the renovations I do. The company will facilitate all the rebate paperwork once my renovations and improvements are complete and they do their final inspection. I would highly recommend this company to do your Home Energy Assessment.
