We liked the thoroughness of the inspection and the patience of our inspector as he pointed out things to our buyer. We like our buyer to be there for the entire inspection if they can and some inspectors don't have patience with that. Our buyers were very pleased.

I would have liked the inspection to state the age of the appliances (look at the manufacturing date on the appliance). Three glass windows in main room had moisture in them and water droplets showing a leak. The owner did show it to us however, would have been good to have it in the inspection report as well. I undertsand the $339 charge however, in my view this report is not worth the charge.
Also, it would be nice if the inspector and seller do not have a prior professional relationship.

Nous avons fait appel à Amerispec pour l'inspection de notre première maison. Notre inspecteur, Mr Dumont, était très professionnel. Nous n'aurons pas pu rêver mieux! Il a pris le temps de vulgariser les termes que nous ne connaissions pas, de nous expliquer tous les détails des commentaires qu'il allait mettre dans le rapport, et même de nous donner des conseils pour l'entretien de notre maison. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le fait qu'il note à la fois les défauts mais aussi les points positifs de notre maison. Cela nous a conforté dans notre choix et a rendu l'inspection moins intimidante que ce à quoi nous nous attendions. Il a pris le temps de nous expliquer quels travaux seraient à faire en premier, pourquoi, et si nous pouvions envisager de les faire nous-mêmes ou si ça prenait absolument un artisan qualifié. A la fin de l'inspection, il nous a remis un classeur avec des documents très utiles pour les premiers acheteurs, notamment sur l'entretien saisonnier de toutes les parties de la maison.
