I thought that our inspector was excellent. I am a first time home buyer he took time to explain everything to me and he was very thorough. He answered all of my questions. He was polite and friendly, on time and very patient. I would recommend Matt highly.
The inspector was knowledgeable and personable. He made the buyers feel comfortable with the repairs identified. The buyers were more than happy with his services.
Had an issue with a slight crack on the ceiling which I did tell the inspector about when I met him there and said it was on the sellers disclosure. The roof and crack had been repaired by the seller, however it was still on the inspection report as a Major Defect which had my buyer alarmed. It noted that the spot was dry but to follow up with repair/maintenance.
Cal Ramirez was very thorough in his inspection. The report he generated was very detailed and professional. He was a pleasure to work with.
The inspector provides too much information to the buyers outside of his scope of work. He should not have an opinion about appraisals, real estate information and what repairs are needed and how to do them. The buyers are first time home buyers and they were totally overwhelmed and walked away. I've brought this to your attention previously about this inspector.
