Howard came in. Looked at our front door and back door for all of 30 seconds before he began to write up the estimate. Ok...?... He took a picture from where he was sitting which was like 5 feet away?!?! Didn’t measure anything. Like the holes that are currently in the door. He then quoted me $850 to replace two door handles. Umm what? The product itself would cost $50 max for both!! So we are talking about $800 in labor? For door handles? That might take you a little over an hour to fix if that?That’s insane. I might be a female but I’m not stupid! You will not take advantage of me. Maybe he just didn’t want to do the job. Well, that’s fine. You won’t get my business. I had a few other projects that I needed done. You won’t get that either. I didn’t mention that we are trying to move. So projects that we might need done because of the inspection won’t be yours either or the projects that we want done in our new home. Have a nice day!

Great walk thorough with cost estimate
No one showed up for the scheduled appointment.
I got my estimate almost a week ago and haven't received the dates for the work that's to be preformed.
This is unexceptable. It really makes me want to cancel the work.
I've called and still haven't gotten a date.
The overall attitude of the salesman. His statement about needing single planks for the stairs. His comments about the stairs not being in code if the were done with flooring.

The gentleman did not take any time to discuss the issues with our door. He was only eager to write up an estimate for a new door and that he did.
My project was completely explained in every aspect. .

DaVaughn was really nice and open to my many ideas for reconstructing my step and porch. If I do not use Allied for this project, your company is my official go to for any future projects.

No one ever showed up to the appointment.
Inspection was not thorough and no options were given as other contractors we chose for inspection/estimate. Only option given was to replace concrete porch.

With prices of materials so high right now, I choose not to move forward with a deck replacement at this time.
I noticed the estimate said the following:
“ Notes:
*Any fascia metal needed will be billed in addition at $10 LF
*Any drip edge needed will be billed in addition at $12.50 LF”
The fascia board that needs to be replaced is approximately 45’, this would bring the final cost close to $2000, this is far more than I want to spend for this job.
I think Duane did a good job. I may come back to Allied. However, a competitor was more thorough in what his company could provide. The competitor gave insights on creating the patio that I envision. I felt that the competitor understood what I am looking for a bit better.

$1,000 for something will take 1-2 hours of time is totally ridiculous!!
Someone came out and said they would get back to me, but I did not receive an estimate from them and no follow up.
