I have used you before and liked the service. This time Glenn came right out and gave me an estimate. I had to call to get the email to pay my downpayment. I haven't gotten a call to schedule my service. I was expecting the call last week after the scheduling meeting. I called Friday and they said there will be scheduling meeting on Tuesday. I hope they call me after the meeting regarding my service.
I like the detailed estimate most. II makes it easy to compare offers from other contractors.

My appointment was 5 minutes and I wasn’t offered options or shown anything. Then i got a quote that was 4k higher than any other quote I got.

Easy to talk to and with
I met with Robert Feltman at my condo on a freezing cold day to discuss purchasing/installing a window and storm door. He was outstanding - thorough and thoughtful. The estimate was much more than I expected so I will not be proceeding with Woodland W&D. But I do want to stress that doing an in-person estimate was not a good use of time for either the estimator or me. A rough estimate could have been done through a phone call or a video chat.
Some customer situations may need an in-person estimate. Some don't. I suspect that Woodland's prices/overhead would be a lot more competitive if they didn't make a trip out to basically follow up on every lead.

Cheap plywood was used in our attic when work was done, as an insurance job, not even five years ago to replace our roof. The plywood knots have fallen out in fifteen places and we can see the rooting shingles. Beltway/Allied tells us 'the materials are in good shape' but they can repair for close to a $1000

Your sales man Phil was very thorough in his explanation of the entire procedure from start to finish. Explain differences on sliding glass doors vinyl versus fiberglass. Answered all of my questions regarding warranties regarding the door as well as installation of sliding glass door.
Highest quote. Double what the other two contractors quoted. Don’t waste my time if you don’t want the job.

The salesman didn’t breakdown the prices of the doors and the project seemed overpriced.

I was promised ab estimate on repairs to the heating system in our sanctuary nearly a month ago. I have yet to see it. Going with another contractor.
